I really wanted to see him end up with the D'Antoni/Nash Suns a few years back.

Now THAT would have been "can't make it here, can't make it anywhere" land for sure.

The NYC emphasis on mass-transit should help him accumulate less speeding tickets.

...and the city-wide smoking ban should help him adjust to Dantoni's offense.

Knick fans are gonna absoluetly LOVE Darko!

Well at least from what we've read the NY strippers are gonna love the extra income he brings them.

Without Sheed, Darko may lack the motivation to light us up . . . or destroy us.

You could say that about every team that Darko's ever played against.

how is your boy ben doing?? btw. he quit on us and now the malcontent has quit on cleveland.

chauncey moved quite a few places too before he found the right spot. everyone was crying about him being gone last year. for the record darko wasn't fired from the pistons he asked to leave.

for the record everyone wants to joke about darko. there hasn't been a piston big man that darko couldn't check. there hasn't been a pistons big man that could check darko. darko has been and will be exactly what we've needed and what we need now. but it's easier to joke about him.

I am with you, 'bills. I am happy to see DMC with the Knicks and especially with D'Antonelli (sp). Darko should have the system he needs and the coach who wants him and the people of NY accepting of him.

He usually got a good reception there and things are falling his way.

But I also believe that this is the best shot he is going to get he had better work his buns off and really get into it.

He will never get a better shot.

Sure, if you call having a broken appendage late in the season, quitting...whatever floats your boat.

Considering Ben has one of the best rags to riches stories in the NBA, One of only 4 players in NBA History to win 4 DPOY awards, a championship ring to which he was a major contributor, a great family, and a fat bank account...my guess is he's doing pretty well for himself.

Darko will only dream about having the kind of career that Ben Wallace had and crapping on Ben Wallace won't make Darko's career any brighter.

That's like saying you quit your job after the manager refused to schedule you for shifts, therefore you were forced to seek employment elsewhere. The "quitting" is a formality and not so much a choice.

The only joke about Darko is that he was drafted #2 in one of the best drafts in recent NBA history. The only checking he does is on pay day and he couldn't even beat out KB Toys for PT at this point in his career (and I use the term career loosely). It's easier to joke about him, because he's the Jon Koncak of the modern basketball era. All of the hype, none of the production. Drafting Darko has become the Pistons' flipside to the question of what would have happened IF they had signed Koncak to that ridiculous FA contract. They would have become a laughing stock as they have become since drafting Darko the Magnificent. Darko is not a has been, he's a never was and mostly likely never will be.

Please man...Darko could retire with career avgs of 6ppg and 4 rpg and 15 years from now you'd still be telling us how he's the best big man since Bill Russell.

    appendages that don't work..

    Hey Low..

That was an unfair appendage assualt.

Dinko has something worse, he has a missing appendage.
He's been missing his heart since he joined the league.

It's rumored he's mising two other appendages since his playground days in war torn Bosnia, care to guess what they are?

    no..guess again..?
