Time for Darko's agent to list a "STARTING PRICE" for his agent. Too many people are scared off by the crazy demands of the Darko camp. Time to let the NBA know that Darko can be had CHEAP.............

Darko with the Lakers or Clippers? Both of them could use a big man up front to add some depth though unless the Lakers move one of their bigs the Clippers would seem like a better fit.

The Clippers may be a good fit for young Darko. It would be interesting to see how the coaching staff misuses him. He could also really help Brand the way he has helped Howard in Orlando. Of course, If Brand tries to pull a Ben Wallace and keep Darko on the bench, he could be stepping into Nightmare on Hardwood 3: Darko vs. Elton.

I don't think that Brand would do that. Besides Darko could back up Kaman. I would think that that is how they would use him first.

    Maybe 15 - 20 minutes for Kaman and 5 - 10 for Brand.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Gone from being predicted as an all-star by last year's all-star break to being a potential great shot blocker backup. lol. Thrown away by two teams. Right now Eric Montross has a better shot at getting into the Hall of Fame. :)

it's just the reality of the situation. darko is going to be an all star. darko is going to win another championship. i wouldn't exactly call him thrown away. orlando still wants to sign darko. i didn't say his only role could be a backup shot blocker. i was saying that every team should want darko.

Just giving you a hard time bballjay. lol. I'm not about to engage in that debate with you...yet. :) BTW, which young gun has got you excited this year in the summer league for the Pistons?

amir has me excited of course. i think amir is going to be great. we won't be able to sign him after this first initial contract. he's going to dominate summer league just like he dominates the nbdl. jmax is going to be great in my opinion he's too good for summer league but he needs the action i guess. so i guess my answer is the young bigs have me excited. it's time to slowly start working the new into the old.

I hope darko turns his back on the magic AFTER they dump some expiring contracts to make space. I hope he signs for the MLE with another team that plays him to his strengths.

As for amir, i don't think he'll shine that much in SL. Too many crazy guard play and maxiell isn't much of a passer. But it won't matter because he'll contribute this season.

With everyone getting 10 fouls, Amir will get a chance to develope his FT. ;-]
He signed for $3.3 over 3 yr. right?

Looks like the Magic are trying to move a bunch of trash off the bench so Darko can have a seat.

After giving us Stuckey, they should probably keep the asset that they got for him.

They traded a pick for Darko and now they want to trade another to keep him? What a bunch of idiots. Not to mention the fact that they overpaid for Lewis.

They traded a #15 pick and a stiff for a #2 pick + Carlos Arroyo because they assumed Darko would play like a #10 pick. This was a cheap deal for them. After taking a closer look at DM, they concluded that he is playing more like a #6 pick, so they are potentially willing to pay more for to keep him. But they spent their wad on Lewis, so they may not have the ability to do it. Plus Darko's agent burned the bridge a bit. It's a clusterfrick.

That's funny that Billy King is looking at Darko. I didn't think he would be able to ever sit down again after Marc Cornstein squeezed the Samuel Dalembert contract out of the Sixers. Cornstein is Dalembert and Darko's agent.

Is LB still advising the Sixers? Wonder what LB has told Billy King about DMC?
