David Stern for sainthood

    Obviously the Catholic church should get onto this because clearly David Stern has performed two miracles.

    One- The dirty team Spurs overcame the Suns in the conference series.

    Two- The Cavaliers beat the Piston.

    In both of those series the refs called more ridiculous fouls against the losing team than anything. Clearly last year's Finals was a little unwatchable so this year they wanted to hyped things up with big stars playing the game. The Suns and the Piston (no offense) doesn't have high caliber stars that can sell television ads slots.

    Sun vs. Cavs would have been a better draw.

    And Stern is great.

    Agreed, I think Stern would be trilled if the Spurs had lost. San Antonio is a very small TV market.

    The hype for the Suns was strong all year. I don't think the Suns are a good example of a "starless" team being screwed by the league.
