If the Kings flip Tmac to the Knicks (as rumored by the Sac Bee) then the Kings would acquire Hill and two picks for Martin... SG being the easiest position to fill. This would qualify as creative/winning GM strategy.

I have to say, Martin to the Rockets is a great move for Houston. Such a defensive minded team, maybe they can help Martin improve his game. Scary. Brooks, Martin, and Ariza is solid.
Once Yao returns healthy, this is a pretty scary line-up; and I still think Sac-town is gonna trade TMac to NY
Even without Yao, Scola and Landry are a solid front court. Granted, having someone like Landry coming off the bench is optimal. Wow. In my opinion, Martins contract is null here. It's great to know you have him around for years to come, along with Ariza and Yao. The only problem is Brooks rookie contract will be up after next year, and where do you get the cash from to sign him? I'm guessing you'll be hearing alot of Yao talk around this time next year.
nooooo Landry is my boy! I thought he was a key element in that Houston team defense. I guess I need to read the fine print...or the print in general. Argh.
I think that Miami may be more disappointed about not landing someone in Free Agency than us Pistons fans are. Anyone check out any of their boards, or have any inside info down on the beach?
yep this means that Wade is history as he will not stay down in South Beach no matter how many topless groupies are down there. They could not lure Amar'e or Boozer down there, so Riles magic touch is fading as fast as Dumars It is a long shot, but if the Clips can sign a decent coach in B Scott or Avery in the spring, Wade might sign with them so he can be closer to his girl friend actress Gabriel Union.... The Clippers with their recent moves have now set themselves up for run at the free agency and our weather in the winter is as good as Miami...
More deadline updates By Sekou Smith • February 18, 2010 • 4:13 PM Just because the trade deadline has passed doesn't mean the information is done flowing. Sources tell TNT's David Aldridge that the Utah Jazz will trade guard Ronnie Brewer to the Memphis Grizzlies for a future first-round pick, and that the San Antonio Spurs will trade center Theo Ratliff to the Charlotte Bobcats for future considerations. Brewer, Utah's first-round pick in 2007, had been coveted by the Grizzlies for some time as they sought to bolster their bench for the stretch run. The Jazz were reluctant to move him because he had improved in many categories since his rookie season and was becoming a better defender. But the Jazz is also trying to ensure that it will not be a major luxury tax payer next summer, and even after a trade earlier this year involving forward Matt Harpring saved nearly $10 million in tax payments, Utah is still teetering on the brink of the tax.
ESPN Grading the Darko trade: Knicks: After all this talk, the only trade we get is dead money for dead money? Beats nothing, I guess. The Knicks save $1 million in luxury tax payments by having Cardinal sit behind their bench instead of Milicic, so the motivation was obvious from their end. Grade: B Timberwolves: I don't get this at all. Milicic is a free agent next season and will almost certainly play in Europe. Also, he's not any good. Nonetheless, Minnesota paid nearly $1 million for a front-row seat to the Darko Experience. About the best that can be said is he'd be hard-pressed to be any worse than current Wolves center Ryan Hollins, and Milicic may actually help Minnesota's interior D. Hey, it's Glen Taylor's money, not mine, but this doesn't seem like a particularly shrewd use of it. Grade: D
Maybe Laimbeer use to work out with him at the Palace and saw some hidden potential that none of our other coaches saw and wants to work with him somemore? or Maybe he is a good practice buddy for Hollins and Jefferson?
