Denver March 26th 7:30 PM TV - (Local) FSN Detroit, NBA TV The Nuggets come to town on the back end of a back to back. The up and down AI/Carmella experiment has not lived up to expectations, however, they can be a dangerous tandem. The Nuggets avg 105 PPG, but give up 103 PPG. The Pistons slow footed (at times) defense must be up to task in this one.
AI and Carmella will be a tough cover for the Pistons tonight. Last night AI actually looked like a PG at times; with 18 points and 12 assists. He was looking to pass first and didn`t take a bad shot all night. Nene was very active also, he had 21 points and nine rebounds. Carmella had 27 points, as they defeated the Cav`s. If this team could find it in their hearts to play defense they would be very good. This is one of the games I predicted the Pistons would lose at the beginning of the month.
We can'T expect Tay and Billups and Hamilton to play a lot when the game becomes one-sided. We don't want them to be injured in garbage time. Still, I think we will blow them out. DEEE-TROIT BASKETBALL!!!

SHEED! Man, what a play! I grabbed my wife out of bed and made her check out the replays. She was even mildly impressed (more likely humouring me, but I'm ok with that). We did get smoked on the offensive glass though, but a win is a win and this was a damn exciting one!
Amazing...craziest finish to any game I've ever seen. I doubt any of us will ever see anything like that last play in regulation again, no matter how long we live!
Wow........... Sheed = hero CB = Big game, some bone head turns..... 18, wow way too many Dyess....HUGE......20 POINTS 11 REBOUNDS IN 38 MINUTES Go Pistons!!!!!!!!!
I was all prepared to come into the forum tonight and just rag on what a terrible game plan Saunders had going. He played the starters ragged tonight, and someone is going to pick up an unnecessary injury. Sheed just showed why he's worth every penny he earns making that incredible shot to put the game into overtime. That redeems him but really this was a game the Pistons should have turned into a blow-out. It does seem a disturbing pattern that non star players get career games against the Pistons. Nene' looked like a first round Hall of Famer tonight against the Pistons. So the stats aren't kind to Delfino tonight but he hardly got in the game long enough for a cup of coffee and no boards or points which is very unusual for him lately. Flip Murray was a turnover machine tonight but he made a fantastic steal and finish that made up for most of those earlier bonehead plays. Chauncey is still not 100% and is he on a mission to really pull that groin?
Flip Murray was "sick as a dog" tonight. He had 103 temperature. Gutsy effort by him to suit up and give it his best.
