    Ahhhhhh yes. Right on cue.

    Not even Chauncey Billups and his "cerebral touch" can keep the Thuggets from their annual implosion.

    It's just TOO damn easy to predict:
    Nuggets will drop to 5th or 6th in the West and lose in the first round of the playoffs. Either Karl or Melo will be gone next year.

    Apparently Melo refused to come out of the game in the third quarter when Karl tried to sub him out.

    This is pretty inovative coming from Melo.

    He usually refuses to go back in to a game.
    It's good to see a little diversification in his insubordination.

    ...Carmelo Anthony is a jackass.

    That's step 2. Step 1 is to stop letting his friends borrow his back pack.

    This is how I hope it plays out.

    Pistons take the court, Chauncey runs over to the bench, high-fives Dave Cowens, then does the body slam jump thing with Rip. Shakes everyone's hand, big hug scene with Tay at midcourt, lasts just long enough to be uncomfortable viewing for small children.

    Start the game, Pistons put a severe ass whuppin on the Nuggets, then post game, Chauncey cerebrally touches Eli Zaret and Chris McCosky one more time, before retiring back to the Nuggets locker room to finish a conversation about one of Kenyon Martins' tattoos.

    Later in the evening, Chauncey will hook up with Sheed, Tay and Rip in a deserted Ypsilanti parking lot. They will throw empty bottles of Cristal at the side of a burned out tenement, and yell, "Damn you Joe!, Damn you!"

    The evening will end quietly, without violence, and without strippers. And tomorrow, life will go on.

    :pound:

    You know i was actually thinking this is a step in the right direction. They were up i think when he refused because he just want to win so bad. Usually, he would probably be too lazy to be bothered to go into the game. That's my spin. LOL

    edited to add;

    I can't believe i have class tonight. TIVO is just not the same as live especially since i don't have the self-control to not check the score.

    Wow!

    I was just going to post this exactly as you had written it VERBATIM.
    (only minor exception was that the post game locker room conversation was about one of JR Smith's tattoos)

    ...this is so weird.

    And the part at the end of the night where Chauncey removed the last pin from the back of his AI voodoo doll in the Piston 1 jersey.

    Man, I half-assed tried to look for the game write-up from 2004 (against the Pistons coincidently) from when Melo refused to re-enter the game in that 4th quarter. If I remember correctly, our Pistons were KILLING the Nuggets and Melo just wanted to call it a night. Jeff Bzdelik suspended him.

    Just think lp; before long you'll be out of school and (like me) you'll have no class.

    I would just like to apologize to all of you guys for that first half. My TIVO = loss.

    I got home at the start of the 3rd and have turned it off. Hopefully, we should be OK now. LOL

    edited to add;

    Curry please put AA on Billups. The last DEN game wasn't so long ago that you completely forget what worked.

    Solid win. Great job by the Pistons.

    We can be even better than this. Things are starting to come together.

    Happy to see Billups get beat. As Rip said, NO BUDDY BALL!
