    Detroit Friday April 24 7pm Round 1 Game 3
    tv: ESPN

Getting to be do or die time for the Pistons as the series heads into Detroit. Pistons are not much better at home but the Cavs are far less better on the road. Does it matter at this point? Or can the Pistons build on some of the momentum from last games 4th quarter.

Curry has indicated that he will bring in the bench guys sooner.

    Want them to win...
Am hoping for a single digit loss.

    That would be an improvement.

I think they play better at home and grab one of the games.

Odds are decent that we will get energy and take 1 game. Game 3 is probably more likely.

Odds of winning game 3 = 35%. Odds of winning at least 1 game = 55%.
At least that is how I would handicap it.

To have carryover from the last game, Curry actually has to play the players that were responsible for it.

If he can't be free and loose with minutes down 2-0 in a series you've been blown out in in every game at home, then we are doomed. I mean we are already doomed, but if that happens we are extra doomed.

Maybe the fans should all dress in white or blue to show a sign of unity..as we definitely could use a [strike]sixth[/strike] [strike]seventh[/strike], man ~~oh hell we could use Billups and Ben about now...

Remember the last time (and only, to my memory) the Pistons did a white out at the Palace? Game 3 of the 2008 ECF... the end result was not pretty.

Let's stay clear of that one IMO.

That's because the Pistons had stolen game 2 of the series in Boston and they came into game 3 cocky as if they had already won and laid a green egg.

Even some of us were celebrating EC Championship early because we had taken home court. The C's quickly took the crowd out of it.....

The crowds at the Palace do not seem to be into the games as much as crowds in other arenas. I have never been there but that is how it comes across on the tube...?

We will lose Game 3, because once again Curry will start the same SL and keep them in until we fall sufficiently behind (read: 12-15 points).

Kinda OT; but has DET suckiness killed anyone else's interest in the PO's?

Before it began i was looking forward to so many match-ups. Now i couldn't care less. The only team i follow is ATL and even that's not very exciting. I have to mute all announcers and i no longer watch any of the TNT stuff.

Guess i really am just a Piston's fan LOL

We all need to squad up and abandon hope.

I'm disgusted. And it's not the talent level that disgusts me. It's this teams character. I already hit this point up in last nights game thread.

I guess I am no better than the Pistons in terms of quitting on my duty of being a fan, the way that they quit on us as well as themselves.

Maybe. I started a PF.com playoff bracket pool and gave everyone plenty of notice...we only have 9 players. My only interest in the playoffs now is hoping the Cavs and Lakers somehow don't make it to the Finals. Blazers-Magic baby!

I'm enjoying them although I have definitely had moments where I hate whichever team is winning because they're not awful and disjointed.

Think The Morgue will be half full for this game?

Is Tay trying to be most depressing person possible? All his quotes have been so ugh.
