Maybe coming back to the state where he had success will revive his career? He's still fairly young, and he missed chunk of the development time by playing baseball. Defensively speaking they rank 29th overall..with only the Bill having a worse passing defense. Remember I am giving stats prior to the Redskin game With a so called potent offense, how come they laid an egg in today's game...? Calvin Johnson???? 11 catches in 5 games (including 1 today for 3 yards). is Kidna throwing the ball to him? or his he not on the field enough?? It is my belief that we are currently suffering because of the draft. We've had many high picks since millen has got here, but we do not fill in the gaping holes on the team.
Dre, Calvin has barely been on the field. He injured his back a few games ago making a circus catch and was inactive for last week's game so that has limited him some. Also, Martz's offense is extremely complicated so they're bringing him along slowly. Marinelli has said that they aren't just going to hand him a starting job, that he'll have to earn it. He has caught everything that has been thrown to him. He runs hard, clean routes. He is tall, fast, has great hands, a great attitude and is motivated.This isn't a case of Mike Williams or Charles Rogers.
