    Detroit @ Philadelphia Nov 21 7PM

    tv: FSN

Time for a new game. Pistons have to extend their fine play at home over the past 2 games to the road.

Sixers have dropped 2 straight to end their West Coast trip. This will be their 1st game back after a 2 day rest so lets hope the West Coast fatigue hits them also as we need this one to get above .500.

Can't wait to see this game... this is a likely trading partner.

    Are you talking about Iverson?

They have players we can use... if they are not competetive again it will be blown up in Philly.

    Players that could interest Joe
    A.I.
    Dalembert
C Webbs huge expiring next year
    Iguodola

Why would they want Webb's contract?
This summer it becomes a major bargaining chip... you could get several pieces just from this one contract.... Going after the contract would only happen if the Pistons headed south this year.

Philly doesn't own a 1st rounder or their own 2nd... they need picks to rebuild.

We have two Philly products (not that we want to trade Rip)

Just a lil sub plot to the game.

Dalembert might have a great game if AI keeps driving into the lane. The way our guards are playing, AI might have a field day driving into the lane all night.

Might wanna have Hunter checking AI if that happens.

sixers could be missing iverson, webber and hunter tonight.

hope we dont see a repeat of the hornets game when they had starters out.

They had Joe D. on 1270AM today and they asked him about Iverson for Chauncey. Joe D. claims he was never offered the deal directly from Philly. Hmmmm... where there is smoke there is fire... Some backdoor wheeling and dealing perhaps.

This was like beating the Spurs without Duncan, Ginobili, and Parker. Except we had to give our starters heavy burn to get er done... and hit a lot of 3's.

Out rebounded and shot more treys than FTs.

Happy to get the win, and the licence to hunt down and destroy the forum Sith, but this is smoke and mirrors basketball. This style is good for ONE win in the playoffs.

We are starting to use Tay more in the offense--finally. The results should hold up. The pass to Billips for the three off the double is a prime example. As long as it is not dump the ball into Tay and let him go one on one, he will have opportunities to score for himself and open things up for others as they cut. He has been our true all-star so far this year.

We should also use Tay on any break or mini-break and I notice that Billips is. Tay is almost impossible to stop in the open court.

We are sending Rip in a bit too much inside. He is reliable with the short jumper and that knee injury could have been prevented.

Dyss starting the 4th as our center did not work. Who can help Sheed down low is a re-curring theme? For us to get a title, it will have to be resolved. Sheed's defensive ability down low is exceptional but he needs for someone to be able to slide along and play next to him. Dyss is a jump shooter whether we like it or not. He is starting to hit his shots when he releases immediately.

Delfino hit a shot. Until he can do that with consistency, he can not have the impact people wish for.

I knew people would be complaining after this win. Piston did get out boarded by 8 but so far have had a slight edge on the glass this season. That means up to this game they have been rebounding better than last season.

Pistons took 7 more 3's than the Sixers but they did win the paint war with a 38-36 edge in paint points. Held the Sixers to 39% shooting.

6-5 now with a 10 point win on the road. This is good.
