Life is tough in Detroit. I'll do what I feel reasonable for Tim Hortons coupons.
Understandable, but better check the expiration dates on those coupons (this is Roscoe you are dealing with).
Moi? I’m shocked, stunned, taken aback. My honest and caring concern about your poetic upbringing has been met with vitriol. Pure vitriol. I had this wonderful vision of you out there in whatever God-forsaken place it is you live sitting down with some nice Ovid or perhaps a little Rutilius Claudius Namatianus. All the while knowing that the delights of Chaucer, Milton, Jonson, and Donne were up next. I urge you to put down your acrimony, your incivility, your surliness (not to mention your incessant paranoia) and pick up a thin book filled with verse.
If a pick up a book it's going to be a big dictionary to help me understand this post. Then after that, I'm going to toss it at your head!!!
Why couldn't he score against the Pistons when we played them in the PO's? Gordon went nuts in the BOS series. He's undersized, is a mediocre ball handler, has awful shot selection, and is good for at least one game losing turnover in the 4th quarter . . . and if Joe wants to pay him that much, he's lost his mind. Trade Rip. Don't trade Rip. Ben Gordon at 11m is not the answer to SG. Has there been a player in the NBA made for him to guard?
Re: Detroit Pistons didn't promise $11 million to Ben Gordon Total fly encrusted cowpies. The writer thinks he's talking to ignoramuses (oh wait it is a Chicago writer speaking to Bulls fans, my bad). Like any Detroit fan would believe Dumars dumb enough to interfer with an existing contract.Right. My opinion, it's a smokescreen intended to injure Gordons rep in Chicago. This guy never liked Gordon and he's playing a game where he thinks he has some influence, inside the local ignorant fan base. Drive the public wedge making it easier for the club to off the player. Call the players loyalty into question. Use the hated Detroit as the opining suitor at the window. It's all very Shakesperian. It's all bull%%%%. Only an amateur speaking to amateurs would suggest a hard money offer has taken place. Truth....
Funny...I don't remember typing those four percentage symbols...
Ditto LApistons, GREAT post. I also like to have BG in the red and blue. Why, each time the pistons played the Bulls, I would cringe every time Gordon shot the ball, he usualy killed us. Every time he shoots it seems that its money. Would love to have that type of shooter on our team something we sorely, sorely, lacked last year. Our 3 point shooting was almost dead last in the league. This can't happen especially in the new NBA.
Perhaps Joe negotiating with a player already under contract is his way of welcoming Kevin McHale to the organization as coach?
Why would you trade Stuckey over Hamilton? One is 8 years younger than the other with potential to get a lot better, the other is declining and was always a one dimensional player to begin with. And a Gordon-Hamilton backcourt is just laughable because that presumes that Gordon is playing the point, which in of itself, is a disaster.
That "style" only won us a championship when the league allowed us to defend. You simply can't win championships in this league anymore with guys like Rip as your number one option... it can't be done.
Forum automated censor. Sorry. @Darth, I don't think everyone gets your sense of humour.
I think you're forgetting Will B. And I'm sure Rip would come off the bench behind Gordon.
I suppose we're OK as long as the targets understand it, but, you know, you can always forward me the complaints, which, of course, I will immediately take to heart and attempt to change my ways...
It's amazing that Gordon outblocks Rip by a margin of 5.5 to 1!
We don't WANT to either.
That seems a bit harsh. I think Tater ranks amongst PF.com's top 500 funniest posters.
@ Coyne J. and deteam...Just for the record: I HATE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :icon_evil:
All that money for a backup SG? Hm...
Separate names with a comma.
