Nice signing by Joe to pick up Chris Wilcox. I've seen games where this guy can dominate at either end of the floor when he wants to. With a good system in place and Arnie to tend to any of his aches and pains the Pistons have a very good big man for a very reasonable price. Wilcox can be our Sheed without the theatrics. I liked Glen Davis as well but he was going to be out of our range so the Pistons are ready to grow together as a young team which is very exciting. I'm still sad over Spellcheck being shipped off for a future 2nd rounder but it will be OK since Chauncey now has an ex-Pistons backcourt mate.
I like this move under the circumstances. Why not? I think this team will be pretty good. Not great. But competitive and fun to watch.
I like the signing. As a Terp Alum. I watched him play quite a bit at U of M. He can play some center depending on matchup.
Agreed. This team is going to be really exciting this year. I'm not absolutely thrilled at the Wilcox signing, but there's nothing else out there and it's a reasonable contract. Not to mention he's relatively young.

Well, that was four years ago (he was what? 22?) and he hasn't been in any trouble since then to my knowledge, so I think we're ok here...
Decent signing, Wilcox is a big body who can bang down low. Don't know if he can play starter's minutes but should be interesting. Compared to this signing Maxi is way overpaid. Of course, this does not replace Dice's production. Agree with the sentiment that the Pistons should be fun to watch as the youngsters develop. Sign Ben for the vet's minimum and start the season.
This was kind of best of the last signing. But he will fulfill the purpose. And if he can play up to his potential, he is a 13 and 7 player, which is pretty decent.
