I loved how the Wings ruined the Bhawks banner day.
    Lucky goals count.

Sad to see Maltby retiring. An era is ending. :cold:

Looks like the Wings are going to have the same issue they had last season in OT....0-6 in the shootout as the Avs win it 5-4:yellowprison:

Datsyuk is ridiculously good. If you watched tonight's game, you know what I mean. Some of the moves he makes are simply jaw-dropping.

Yeah, as a former hockey player I'm just amazed by this guys skills on both ends of the ice. Detroit is truly blessed having him and Z who are so awesome both on defense and offense. My Rangers have to settle with sucky one way guys like Gabo. Btw, everytime you guys see the Mule do something good remember this guy was moulded by playing against yours truly as a kid.

LOL @ Tampa - Philly. 7-7 after two periods. Would be pretty awesome if both teams scored double digits. Scoring 10 and losing the game - never heard of such at pro level. 20-21 in shots on goal so far so the 4 goalies who's participated so far is having an awesome night.

Speaking of the Red Wings....nobody is, but the Wings have the best record in the west and 3rd best record overall @ 12-3-1

Lidstrom is still bringing it. We'll be fine til the talent pools in the playoffs.

It's pretty amazing that the careers of Forsberg and Sundin are so much higher valued by the common Swede than Nicks, in particular Forsbergs. They are not on the same planet even though Nick has won every Norris Trophy since Orr quit and a few rings with that while Forsberg had such problems with injuries. I'd say that Forsberg had the highest ceiling but looking at the careers Nick is atleast at the same level. But I guess that's what happens when you don't deliever gold medals with Tre Kronor like Sundin and Forsberg has done.

Btw, Forsberg is fighting to do his thirtysixth comeback now. The guy just never gives up, lol. It became sad nine comebacks ago. The same injury with his feet everytime.

I know most true Red Wings appreciate all that Lidstrom brings. Management doesn't take him for granted either.

Wings down 1-0 right now. Lots of empty seats. That used to never happen.

Yeah, I guess you get a pretty different answer if you do a Forsberg vs Lidström survey in Detroit compared to in Sweden.

Doesn't Nick keep a home in Sweden ? And he's not a true scorer.

True, and I think a big part is because he hasn't played as much for the national team since he's been busy in the playoffs during the world championships.

How does Lidstrom end up a PLUS 7 in a game with a score of 11-10?
