Well lets see here, all of the Daye bashing about being skinny, wafer thin i.e.

Tayshaun Prince, basically has been the same size for his first 4 years with the Pistons.

Question: How many games did he miss? Is he considered one of the Iron Men of the NBA.

The only Piston player that went to the Olympics, which by the way I think is a direct result of his lack of production.

Don't get it twisted folks, skinny folks have some serious physical abilities that muscular folks do not exhibit. One of those things are flexibility even though he looks like a hockey stick with a wig.

One of my son's is skinny and tall like Day, the other muscular and tall.

The heavier son has had more injuries related to pulls, sprains, strains, breaks, i.e. My light weight son however, never had any sports related injuries or none of the above and has the flexibility that is off the charts.

So don't get your panties in a bunch (Ernie probably doesn't wear panties lol), about the skinny thing because it don't mean a thang, if it ain't got that swang, do wop, do wop, do wang.

    Peace.

    All good points.

My main concern is that he maybe gets shoved around. Did he hold his own in college? Because if not, when those NBA behemoths get a hold of him...**shudders**

I agree 100% Daye IS ready to play and WILL make an impact. I expect him to gain 10-15 pounds before the season starts.

AG - good points. Lot of comments on how Day being like Prince is a bad thing where in reality Prince so far is Dumars best pick to date.

I've stopped wearing panties for the most part. The only time I wear them now is when I'm trying to gut out an extra 5 minutes in my pole dancing workout. They don't bunch up though thankfully.

He's going to be like a softer version of Bargnani... hopefully.

We all hope Daye is like Tayshaun...but let's not forget that Tayshaun can't even carry a full size suitcase.

You see a skinny player and you want to find an example of another skinny player who succeeded. I understand that.

I don't think it's so much about getting injured. In that department long, lean, and flexible beats muscle bound any day.

The concern is that Daye won't be able to hold his own against stronger and heavier players, that they will back him down and that he won't be able to hold position for rebounding.

JD got this mostly for his demeanor. No more drama on the Pistons.
