Give Stuckey a month or so. I believe that Lindsey will be in the suit, especially if Hermann can prove his worth.

The key with Stuckey is that he provides a unique talent, with his ability to get to the hoop and willingness to pass. Flip Murray has a similar game, but has shown certain weaknesses that offset the good parts... like shooting too much, turning the ball over, playing below average D.

Because of the weakness in the backup PG position for the team, Stuckey's acclimation will be hugely beneficial.

Last night was a big step. He held down the fort while Chauncey took almost the entire 4th quarter off. The impressive thing was that the Nets put Kidd in to get one last rally, and Saunders had the guts to keep Stuckey out there. And for the most part, Stuck outplayed the legend.

    RS- 7pts, 1reb, 3 ast, 2 stl in 10:55
    Kidd- 2pt, 1 reb, 1 ast, 1 stl in 5:25.

hunter hurts us less then flip i think.... and i think its a good thing not a bad thing that a backup pg is getting real mins and letting billups get a real rest in the first half. soon those will be stuckey's mins and all will be good with the world.

Hot Rod is his nickname. I am not sure why people don't use it. I didn't make it up.

Check out his picture on the pdf link.

Things are different right now. It's nice to see the kids getting time and playing well, but still too few glimpses of AJ.

It's impossible to say whether things will be different at the end of the season. We've been down this road twice before, having good regular season records. Until Flipper proves my apprehension to his coaching skills during crunch time in the playoffs wrong...nothing will have changed.

I feel as though the League was exonerated last summer of any conspiracy theories. The books were wide open and nothing could be found. Besides what nimrod concerned about ratings would possibly want SanAntonio in there?

Superstars will always get the close calls, thats partly why everyone wants one, but that can be overcome as the Pistons did in 04 against LA and 05 against Miami. Fell a little short last year against the Cavs then again thats what this thread is all about.

I don't care what a bunch of goofy college kids decided to call him. Hot-Rod is a lame nick-name. Thank God he's come to the Pistons where he can get a COOL nickname from Sheed. Chauncey calls him Stuck.......I'm waiting for Sheed to give him his OFFICIAL name.

Right now I'm really torn between 25 cent and Broken Hand. Both of these nick names are better than Hot Rod.

LOL! I've never liked the Hot Rod moniker. If CB's "Stuck" doesn't stick, Sheed is BOUND to come up with a real zinger! :pound:

All that mattered was that Lebron was in there. We did not play San Antonio last year in the playoffs. We played Lebron and Co.

This year we will probably get to play the Celtics, so the only thing different this year is who Stern his minions and the media are doing their best to get into the Finals.

The problem is, is that we are in the wrong conference. We are in the conference that has the superstars that the media wants in the Finals, Wade/Shaq, Lebron, KG/PP/RA.

Wait until this coming May and see how many articles and hours of TV are taken up by the Celtics vs anyone else.

The only thing different this year is that the Stern and his minions and the media will be pumping a different team from the ECF, but nonetheless one that we will get set up to be the fall guy for.

Its like in the WWE, someone has to be the fall guy for the media favorite.

But in the end anything can happen and the Celtics will have to be able to at least keep it close for strange things to happen.

We really don't know who gave him the nickname. It could have been Wade, after all Wade is who he patterns his game after and I am sure that he has met Wade more than a few times.

In any case you guys will call him what you want and I will call him what I want.

Why don't we email Sheed and ask him?

Mahorn has a nickname for him, which he promised to reveal once Hot Rod started playing. So we could also email Ricky and see what nickname he choose.

    This is fun.

Basketball is a competition between two teams. WWE is simply entertainment performed by actors. There is no comparison.

I don't know about you, but I sure as heck find it entertaining to watch any basketball game, even playground games.

entertainment: Definition, Synonyms and Much More from Answers.com

I believe that Kareem and Rodman among others have been actors in movies.

My friend: If you don't think that there is competition in Hollywood among actors you are not too familiar with what goes on in Hollywood off screen.
