Wonder if anyone will sign him. This may be the last few games of his career.
Checks in. Chucks a 3. taken out.
Shut it, Linwood.
Playing for a new contract in the Phillipines maybe.
he ain't gonna make the DR team.
Regular season. You forget, this is Garbage Time. There's nothing to play for now, not the playoffs, not pride. This is where Charlie comes alive. Checks in. Chucks a 3. Coach is pissed but leaves him in. Hits 4 more. Gets fat contract from some team that needs to "stretch the floor." Buys another Ferrari.
Linwood. Truth. You can't plank between just one ferrari.
Wow! We lost against Philly! They end the 26 games losing streak beating us. Kings are losing against Dallas but they can overcome them.
We gave up 70 points in the first half to the worst team in the history of the four major sports. The leadership that jennings displayed was something to behold.
Have we hit rock bottom yet.
Cavs just beat Indy. It's a race against Sacramento for 7th now. The chance of us losing the pick at 8th is 18.0% and at 7th 1.8%. If we are tied for 7th I think it's 9.9%.
So it will be. The Pistons will get double jumped out of the lottery with that 1.8% chance followed by Monroe leaving for nothing. They'll trade their second round pick for someone like Chuck Hayes who'll be coming off spinal fusion surgery.
I would feel a whole lot better if we dropped to at least 7th. The Lakers are only 1.5 games ahead of us in the 6th slot. The teams in contention with us are matching us loss-for-loss. That's what March Madness is all about. Every game is meaningful.
There I was, blissfully ignorant in November last year. The sun had broken through my gloomy outlook, and I was looking forward to a season of straight up domination. Could we sneak the 4th seed with all this size? How awesome will this defense be? And now we head into Autumn. The cold begins to pierce and all the living things around you die, just like the dreams of greatness you had at the end of spring, when life exploded around you. The leaves fall the ground just like the lottery balls, and the once bright flowers wilt and flounder like Joe D in a contract negotiation. The thick grey fog permeates your soul until you just can't feel anything, even when Josh Smith takes a contested three point early in the shot clock.

Well even with tonight's win, the Pistons are still holding down the protected lottery 8th spot.. The Kings won too, so we are still just one back of the 7th spot.
Joe has been taking a beating lately. He is the Grantland office piñata. He's a safe target because he's dunzo so there is no chance of him turning this around.
The Pistons were their pet team before the season started, so it's not like they went into this thing with a negative bias. JD embarrassed them.
This is almost signature quality.
