    The Cavs almost tanked away a 19 point 3rd quarter lead holding on to win 102-100 over the Raptors to extend our lead for the 8th lottery spot to 1 game.

    I saw the scoreboard and the Pistons were up by 1 point, and somehow the "play by play" got messed up and it read "Pistons ball", something like that, so I closed the google chrome and went to read a book.. I came now to check the other scores and see that Waiters hit the buzzerbeater to win the game.

    If just the Kings can get some wins!!

    There were about a thousand timeouts in a row which probably blew up the play-by-play server.

    That was very peculiar.

    timeout #1: Cleveland called timeout after the Jennings miss. This one was absolutely necessary since it allowed the Cavs to advance the ball with only 3.2 seconds left.

    timeout #2: Pistons call timeout right before the Cavs are about to inbounds the ball. Once in a while, you will see a coach do this. Sometimes it forces the other team to go with their 2nd best play since the opponent knows your formation and probably what play you were about to run.

    timeout #3: Pistons call timeout right before the Cavs are about to inbounds the ball. Yes, they did it again. This time, I think Loyer is over-thinking himself. What is he hoping to accomplish?

    timeout #4: No one gets open on the inbounds play so the Cavs call timeout. This was very close to a 5-second violation, but they do manage to get the timeout and draw up ANOTHER play.

    There you have it, FOUR timeouts called within a time period of ZERO seconds. NBA record? Not sure.

    11 games to go and I see up to 5 wins.

    Milw and Sixers are in the bag.

    Bos is a likely win

    Atl is a potential win

    Last game in OKC if they are resting their players for the playoffs.

    Good news: 7 of the 11 are on the road. The Pistons are hard to predict. They could beat Miami and then turn around and lose to Philly.

    Milwaukee
    @Indiana
    @Brooklyn
    Boston

    I would highly upset embarrassed if the Philly losing streak ends with the Pistons....I would call that a must win game....

    Unfortunately only 1 of our games is against the West where we are 6-32. Though this will be common for most teams to play within their conference towards the end of the season. We are 20-22 v the East. Look at the Knicks schedule.

    HAWKS 31-39
    Portland
    @Washington
    Philadelphia
    Chicago
    Cleveland
    @Indiana
    Detroit
    Boston
    @Brooklyn
    Miami
    Charlotte
    @Milwaukee

    KNICKS 30-42
    @phoenix
    @Golden State
    @Utah
    Brooklyn
    Washington
    @Miami
    @Toronto
    Chicago
    @Brooklyn
    Toronto

    CAVS 29-44
    @Brooklyn
    Indiana
    @Orlando
    @Atlanta
    Charlotte
    Detroit
    @Milwaukee
    Boston
    Brooklyn

    DETROIT 26-45

    And if you want to look the other direction, it's gonna be nigh on impossible for the Kings to overtake us.

    KINGS 25-46
    @Oklahoma City
    @Dallas
    @New Orleans
    Lakers
    @Golden State
    Dallas
    Oklahoma City
    @Portland
    @Clippers
    Minnesota
    Phoenix

    At 26-45 the Pistons should win 5 more.
    A 31-51 record sounds about right for this bunch.

    Looks like we're gonna fall short of the 46 win/5th seed season that I predicted in September.

    Plus always do better at the end of the season. Yes 5 more wins is very possible. At least we can get rid of that pick and not have to worry about it next year.

    This is where Charlie really shines. Not to mention, he's playing for a new contract.
