I was just pondering this very astute point.

If Joe is indeed playing a popularity game with his decisions he really doesn't have a foot to stand on with us Pistons fans.

We have opinions dating back to just about the beginning of Joe's tenure that often carries each of us to the exact opposite ends of each topic.

Even if Joe resides in the middle he's going to infuriate at least half of us....sometimes all of us.

    This should be expected.

If you pray a thing may
And it does come your way,
Tis a long way from being your own

Tracy McGrady, in his first tweets since February 25th, had these responses to fan questions about his current state of affairs with the Detroit Pistons.

"how do it feel to play wit pistons"
Tracy McGrady's Response: "looks like i'm day late and dollar short"

"Wht do u think of ur coach?"
Tracy McGrady's Response: "he trying.. losing breeds dysfunction..... we all in it together tho"

    "why haven't u been playin"
    Tracy McGrady's Response: "good question"

(Pertaining to the "rebellion") "Stan Van Gundy took shots at some of you guys on the Pistons too"
    Tracy McGrady's Response:
    "boycott overblown."

"Would you consider to stay with the Pistons after this season?"
    Tracy McGrady's Response: "certainly"

Walter posted this in the Miami game thread but I thought it should be in here as well:

Disgruntled Pistons vets nickname John Kuester

Get these fools out of here.

I never want to see Tracy McGrady, Tayshaun Prince, Rip Hamilton, and Ben Wallace (assuming all these are involved) playing in a Piston uniform again.

The best scenario for next season is:

    • We resign Stuckey, JJ and Daye.
    • We let Prince and TMac walk.
    • We give away Rip, Gordon, Bynum, CV, Maxiell, picks and capp spayce for a real PG and a real PF/C.
    • We buy out Wallace
    • We fire Kuester.
Start the next year with a coach that has a clue, and a lineup of <real PG>, Daye, JJ, <real PF>, Monroe, with Stuckey leading the bench.

That's the best case scenario you say?

Best case scenario is that everyone on the team with the notable exception of Monroe and Jeb get their contracts voided by the league due to some legal technicality.

...and Joe travels to China to sign Ricky Davis.

It certainly makes for a very pleasant scenario. I think it would result in at least 1 to 2 more people in Pistons chat each night.

Boy, have I been out of the loop. Been so into the NFL business or non-business, that I missed this altogether till today. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Fish stinks from the head, Joe D needs to go. Real shame. I think his biggest failure is not hiring Laimbeer and Mahorn after the Shock was disintegrated. This is what Detroit did NOT need! Bad enough years ago when the Tigers were so horrible and the players were like this, but this team was a solid playoff contender that Detroiters could always count on just a few short years ago.

It seems like I watch the Disney channel 24/7. I'm forced to watch because my kids don't want to miss the 1,678th showing of I Carly episode 4 (I think they made maybe 4 episodes total) or Hannah Montana's 498th showing of episode 24. I could go on and on...

Now...Phineas and Ferb...THAT IS some funny shizzle. If you ever wondered what Rascoe was like as a kid...just sayin'...

YouTube - Phineas & Ferb Episode 2 "Lawn Gnome Beach Party of Terror" Part 1/2

    Great songs too:

Yea, that piece was hilarious. I also loved when he showed the little kids how to go on a profanity-laced tirade against their coach.

The highlight for me was Micky getting removed with a big hooked stick while Hamilton laughed.

Mickey didn't think it was so funny. After all, Mickey didn't laugh when Rip's buddy was removed with a big hooked stick.

I think the real question is, who DOESN'T watch the Imagination Movers!

We're actually taking our daughter to see them in concert next Saturday. We got the "Mini Mover" Package. Front row seats and backstage passes to a special afterparty where she'll meet the Movers, get an autographed poster and her picture taken with them. She is VERY excited. We bought it for her as an early birthday present about 6 weeks ago, but didn't tell her about it until this week because we knew she'd be difficult to contain with that kind of information for too long.

I'll have to show her this picture tomorrow. She'll get a kick out of it. I bought her a Rip jersey several years ago when I went to see a game.

When she was really young, I trained her to say "DEEEEtroit BASKETball"!
