I'm telling you, it seems like the Disney Channel is on every minute of the day. I've never ever ever heard of those guys even once. It must be on when my kids are in school? Not sure if all of these are Disney or Nickleodeaon, or whatever, but I constantly have to hear the overly dramatic Degrassi, Cartoons like Phineas and Pherb & Fairly Odd Parents, Avatar, the teeny bopper comedies, Zack and Cody (Suite Life), Drake and Josh, Corey in the House, I Carly (uggh), Hannah Montana, that "what's gonna work-Team work baby cartoon, Handy Manny, you name it. I've even seen the Wiggles once or twice. I've seen High School Musical 4 dozen times. But who the heck are the Imagination Movers?????? Oh, that is when my boy isn't playing Madden football orGolden Eye 007 and my girl isn't playing Wii fit or Sims. Don't get me started on my wife watching some sweet Hallmark Classic movie called "Cute Little Girl is Abducted and Brutally Murdered in the Woods on Her Mother's Birthday". And then my wife telling me afterward," but I thought it was going to be a nice movie. It was a Hallmark about a family. How was I supposed to know???" :rant2: Sorry. I feel better now.
One advantage of being old is that I have never watched all that stuff and have no intention of watching it now.
My wife doesn't do the Hallmark channel thing but as far as the Disney Channel crap goes, that's my house too. I've put limits on it but my children have their ways of softening up my hard stance on this issue. Our 4th grader has never earned less than an "A" on any report card and my two year old boy is just so freaking cute that I have a hard time saying "no". ...I must admit that I've been busted on two separate occasions watching Phineas and Ferb by myself.
Woody doesn't need all that fancy, high-tech stuff to be entertained. Just give him his club and a nice fire and he is happy.
That's right. Woody knows how to handle his woman. NO Hallmark crap in HIS cave...errr house. We know who wears the toga...err...pants in his family!
Off topic update AND qouting my own post! :banplease The concert was great. My daughter REALLY enjoyed it (and so did my wife and I for that matter). On the drive home my daughter told us that "today has been the best day of my life!" haha. The Movers are really nice, cool guys (basically, the polar opposite of Darth Tater). For anyone with young kids, I highly recommend checking them out.
