He explains his tattoos like some kind of an utter fool.

Is this guy so stupid that he thinks people see him like he sees himself in the mirror?
I think that is exactly what he thinks.

Truth About It » DeShawn Stevenson’s New Tattoos and Abe Lincoln

It's been speculated by some that the "P" and the number 5 is DeShawn repping his association with Piru.

Some of the funniest stuff I've read so far has been in this article.

DeShawn Stevenson arrested for acting like DeShawn Stevenson - Ball Don't Lie - NBA%Blog - Yahoo! Sports

    This was good stuff also-
"I always knew where I was at. ... If it was that bad, if it was that wasted, I wouldn't have been out of jail in three hours on a $400 fine,"

    Later in the article-

"I slept in a one-room cell for almost five hours, until my wife came and picked me up.."

I waited two days for one of those cats to show up. After all of the evidence I presented I think he's foolish enough to be trying to plug his gang.

Plus, I have a touch of arthritis in my hip....that's gotta count for something. :)

The P/9 makes sense to me. The crack is genius.

And I think it's great that he has an appreciation for our Nation's history.

By the way, this is a totally separate issue that his saga made me thing of... If you can be arrested for public intoxication (i.e. just walking drunk) and you can be arrested for driving drunk, then what are you supposed to do when you find yourself completely hammered?

Cloud, how would you have gotten out of the catch-22 that DeShawn found himself in?

    "Party" in my house.

"Party" in a place with a landline or a cellphone.

That idiot didn't have to take his act to the streets.

Are you still certain that his situation was a "catch -22"?

The right to imbibe comes with the responsibility to do it appropriately.

I'm not as wealthy as Stevenson and even I can avoid walking the streets like a wino.

    Catch 22?

In the words of the future Warriors coach, TaShawn, you're better than that.

TaShawn, you've had some really good posts lately, IMHO.

This Sir, was NOT one of them. :toilet:

    I'm just kidding.

I just think it is sad and pathetic that he arrested even though he wasn't being disorderly. Basically, he was so drunk that the police arrested him for his own safety.

This guy has taken the Rodman act in a bad direction. I can't imagine how any other team could ever sign him to a contract.

Aren't you usually taken into protective custody when you are drunk and not disorderly? Not that I would know.......
