There are haters and then there's Peter Vescey. This genius continued his long lasting hatred for the Pistons on NBA TV tonight by picking Miami to win the series with gems such as:

    "Homecourt is almost meaningless..."

    or

"If Antione Walker rebounds like he is supposed to..."

    and

"Haslem is a proven deadeye shooter from open range..."(what the hell is open range?)

    You gotta love that guy.

Pete's alright... just can't take him too serious.... dry sense of humor.

He does have some power sources in N.Y. and many times has had exclusives
But this LB buyout thing could bite him (even if he heard it from another exec).... we'll see.

If Vescey gets on the Pistons bus we're in deep trouble. He's wrong more than he is right. Like Merc said, his biggest contribution to the world that is the NBA, rumor & gossip. He lives to send Christmas presents to arcane office personnel across the league, (then sits by the phone waiting for the 'inside' payoff).

He delivers dirt, not gold dust..

I find him to be pretty entertaining personally--it's like watching Maury or soemthing.

So far I'm seeing more critics favoring Miami. On PTI not 5 minutes ago Tony and Mike both picked Miami. People will always, ALWAYS go with the superstars.

    Yep, very true.

The way the Pistons have been playing you kinda understand a little why folks are not going with Detroit. I hope the players are catching all this, it will light a fire under their a..

I love it when we are the underdogs, seems we will always be and that`s fine with me.
