Praise from a very tough critic.

No complaints about Sheed's bball IQ and on court ability. Just can't stand the constant whining and taking night's off. No doubt he brought swagger to this team and they wouldn't be in this position without him, but I find myself questioning if he is worth all the attention he brings. On the flip side he is very entertaining with his frank comments and energy. He is a head scratcher to say the least. LB was able to rein him in, maybe it was the NC thing.
Sheed makes tremendously funny and original comments from time to time. The guy is entertaining. You just get the impression he is toying with the media and the rest of the world. I love this one, from McCoskey's Notebook:
Rasheed Wallace was as confident as ever Thursday morning, but he not wasn't willing to make any of his patented guarantees.
"Not yet," he said. "I told you, I am only doing it once a playoff season. I can't do it every series. It's not a circus bit."
Yeehaa from Montana.
Edit: drunk as a drunk sku n k.
Movin to Montana soooooon
Gonna be a dental floss tycooooooon
Actually, you'll be a cattle rancher since there's more cattle out here than people. Big city people LOVE it out here........... Keep them DOGGIES movin..........
The whinning part I can deal with if not for being the main guy on the switch mentality.
But he is a Piston now, he is one of us.
I happily accept the full Sheed package. He still adds the toughness and swagger this team of semi-softies needs.
Thanks for the Frank Zappa flashback.
If any of you have never seen "the dunk"
Check out the last :15 of this.
Young Sheed was amazing.
Plus it has some nice Steve Smith moments.
YouTube - Blazers jam session
Thanks for the video. I wish Sheed had the same speed he had when he was with Portland.
He's seasoned very nicely in my opinion.
Way better shooter, calmer head (believe it or not), and much much stronger.
