He was a Spaniard living in Canada....different work situation than a Spaniard living in U.S.A.

Is this going to be the opposite of the Bob Probert situation? He can only play for us when we're in Canada?

Like I was saying though, Im sure his family is still living in toronto until after the season and I guess I was just assuming it would be more of a work visa situation which he would already have in place since all players in the nba travel across the border for games.

    More from Keith Langlois :

"Joe D made it clear Calderon acquisition was about more than expiring contract. Sincere interest in keeping beyond this season."

Calderon didn't play any games with our team, but he is really good PG, and I really hope we can sign him for 3-4 more years. Then we will have our PG (Calderon), PF (Monroe) and C (Drummond) positions covered. I see Knight as our 6th man, someone like Jason Terry. We really need to find SG and SF

I like the idea, interesting to see Knight relegated to 6th man...that means Joe is looking for a sg and sf. Glad to see no mention of the "sacred bulldozer" in that blurb

Your draft board looks good to me.

On MCW, I think that the Crittendon comparison is harsh. Javaris was a great talent with no bankable skill in the NBA. He could ALMOST run an offense. He ALMOST had a decent jumper. He could ALMOST post up guards. He really needed to stay in school for another year or two. Instead, he went into the NBA and thought that he had "arrived", and stopped working on his game. He was a lazy turd, and a rotten piece of sh*t for a human being. Good riddance to bad rubbish. MCW, on the other hand, is a great passer and really nice athlete. My problem with his game is that his release is low and slow, and he hasn't learned to gather his body when he tries to shoot off of the dribble.

I'm loving Porter right now. He's a natural three, but his jumper has improved to the point where he could actually be a spot up shooting, off guard for 10-13 mpg. He could be a defensive nightmare against both SGs and SFs.

So with a crapload of cap space, one thing I didn't consider is the possibility of a good-old-fashioned salary dump trade. Denver's up a creek next year if Iguodala re-ups... who should Dumars target from them?

McGee! He leads them in points and blocks per minute. Not sure if there is another player in the league like that (looked it up, Brook Lopez leads in both too). McGee has a 21.4 PER and doesn't start. He's their Andre Drummond. He's 3rd in usage with a .580 TS%, which is not at all what you'd expect (you'd expect low usage like a garbage man). Also, he shares rebounds with some other good rebounders (his figures are a little depressed).

Gallinari would be another option. Great shooter. Gets to the line at surprisingly high rate. Rebounds adequately. Assists at a nice rate too for his position and role.

Wilson Chandler is struggling with FG% this year, but he still finds a way to score and he rebounds extremely well. Might be a good replacement for Tay.

Gallinari! I would love to have Gallo as our starting SF.

Javale shoots something like 25% from 7+ feet. He is a terrible terrible fit. He isn't worth the money he will and does get paid. Pierre McDunk is the worst gamble Dumars could take right now, we need players not more projects.

Gallinari would be a good fit here. McGee would be redundant with Drummond.

McGee has a lower bball IQ than Rodney Stuckey. Just saying. He's the bad version of Tyson Chandler.

He gets it done for being so dumb. Just think if the legendary coach frank had a month to work with him.
