If we have the 3rd worst record, we could conceivably drop due to other teams behind us winning the lotto though.

This is the year when the basketball gods will overrule Stern's cronies and Pistons land #1 pick.

Unfortunately the #1 pick isn't really a game changer this year, he's just better than all of the other 'good' players. I might actually trade the #1 pick if I got it, McClemore and Muhammed are good, but they're not THAT good. The talent level amongst the top 5 or 6 picks is pretty equal.
My Piston wish list assuming that we're picking in the 5-9 range:
    1. Otto Porter
    2. Shabazz Muhammed
    3. Burke/Oladipo
    4. CJ McCollum

Pistons only have 3 players I would start for 82 games... F=MONROE, G=KNIGHT ,C= DRUMMOND...
Of the players they have who would be small forward -who would be shooting guard??
THAT is how they need to base their draft.

In that case, I would take Otto Porter for small forward and try to sign /keep CALDERON for the point or trade for an OJ MAYO type at shooting guard

We have a glaring need for size, and I know teams have screwed themselves by passing on guys because they werent of a prototypical height (Russell Wilson, and likely why Anthony Bennett is a 5-7 instead of a top 2) but I'm just thrown off by Burke. He has looked so freakin' good down the stretch but this team needs some size. Porter gives us that, but his projections are all over the map.

Burke reminds me of JAY WILLIAMS! When he was at Duke, he was the most dominating player in college ball. He got to the Bulls and couldnt do half of what he did at Duke. I know the motorcycle accident cut him (Williams) short, but I see Burke as a 12 point/5 assist player in the NBA..no better than what we have now.

The Chris Paul comparison is really interesting to me. I think TB is a great player, no doubt. But does he have the same basketball mind as CP3? Because that is what makes Paul such a good player, his mind.

My concern with Burke is that his mind seems to work like Stuckeys' !!!

No Way! Burke WANTS to be CP3 2.0 BADLY! And he's working his tail off to get there.

Why does he take over the game and continue to drive into a crowed middle and only occasionally pass the ball.
    Takes wild off-the-glass shots.
Sure, he can shoot better than Stuckey, but at crunch time he wants the ball and has no intention of giving it up.
He's had more collisions than Stuckey!

The difference is Stuckey commits more turnovers than Burke and produces 1/2 the number of assists.

He got the memo but just mixed it up - now he is chasing that No.1 TOV/Ast rate

His team let's him down in Big games and there's only 1 player that he kind of trusts, TH Jr, and he's shaky down the stretch. How many TreyB asts have McGary and Morgan blown this year? Teams stay glued Stauskas and GR3 has been a dud against top tier B10 talent. C'mon dude are you seriously comparing Burke to Stuckey? Dang, I guess familiarity really does breed contempt.
