I don't like Kevin Martin in a Pistons Jersey. Just my thoughts.
That's the weak part of Oladipo's game? I'll take it.
I watched that whole video. He's much better than me or the guys at the Y. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
I sort of had the same thought... he seems really fundamentally sound.
Well, are there any nude beaches around?
At a most important position, a few years of Stuckey is not enough? Let me see...how can we go so far back in feeling confident, that when the opposition defense smirks its confidence eyes upon our 1-2 positions; we begin to roll our eyes that our three point line can not be broken. With that type of confidence level, Drummond will never develop beyond a stretch four. I always like to remember, when in trouble, widen the scope.
Perhaps another take: his tickets are free to the game...are yours?
Watch it again and you'll see the ball boy has an agenda against winning...
It was in a piece from the MIT conference about what actually transfers across from the college game into the pro's. The reasoning was, that for a wing defender, high rates of steals (obviously dependant on the system as well) generally indicate greater explosiveness. Where the steal rate is particularly low, explosiveness tends to be low as well. Cum hoc ergo proctor hoc, I know, but they delved a little deeper than I can off memory. FT% generally carries, assist rate carries. Scoring generally doesn't, but shooting percentages do. E.g Chris Paul averaged .472 during his 2 years at Wake, and his career FG% is .473
I got no problem with Oladipo in a Pistons jersey on draft night. In THIS draft he's as good as anybody else......so why not. Again, I'll be ok with taking any one of these guys: Burke, Oladipo, Porter, Muhammed, McCollum; even though I'm kind of 'eh' on Shabazz.
Oladipo, Burke and Porter look like the guys who will have the most immediate success in the NBA. Shabazz is still intriguing considering that he was injured for most of this season. If he is best available, you have to take him.
We just need to avoid a dud with this one and we're looking good.
Yeah I totally agree, I don't think this is the draft where you get a franchise Stud, I think this is all about avoiding the Dud!
Houston scored a real gem with getting Chandler Parsons in the 2nd rd and while we tend to scoff at those picks, in a draft like this one, there may not be much difference between a lot of these 2nd rounders and those getting selected in the late lottery. A few guys come to mind........ Ryan Kelly and Deshaun Thomas. If Thomas is available when we our first pick comes up in the 2nd rd.....TAKE HIM! If Kelly is available when or 2nd-2nd rd pick comes up TAKE HIM, even coming off of a foot injury.
If the Pacers make a DEEP playoff run without Danny Granger, and we end up with the 8th or 9th pick in the draft......would you trade this years draft pick for him?
For sure. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
I would trade for Granger unless Trey Burke drops to 7th or 8th.
