That 17'er will be wide open all game long for him with AI on the court. Not just AI, Rip and Tay are being more aggresive attacking the basket now too.

I know. He's so perfect in the new offense Curry installed. My fingers (and toes) are still crossed. KB's good game, bad game is not going to cut it. Amir/Max will do what they do, but Dice's steadiness and perimeter games is much needed. Whoever thought we'd be wanting someone back b/c they shoot jump shots LOL.

I agree. It is crazy how quickly we went from a jump shooting team to grinders.

CB and Dyess were 2 of our top 5 shooters.

AI's range is limited, but good mid rangers
    Stuck is almost paint-only
    Bynum has no J
    Kwame's got no J
Maxiell is capable of hitting, but very limited range
Amir is capable with a little more range, but slow release and doesn't look for his shot.
Herrmann has a stroke, but like all the guys who had his locker before him, he can go cold.
Afflalo can hit and has been hitting 3's, but shot is very flat and can go cold.

Rip, Tay, and Sheed are capable of hitting a jumper from anywhere on the floor.

If he was that stuck on Chauncey don't you think he'd have stayed in Denver? :clone:

If you notice, it's teams expressing interest in Dice, not the other waya round. Kind of like the LeBron sweepstakes. Just because the Pistons cleared a bunch of cap space doesn't make it any more likely that LeBron will come here. I guess it's fun while it lasts, though.

Will us getting DESTROYED by Boston 2 games in a row affect Dice's desire to return to the team?

It's clear that Dice is after a ring. We'll have to get through Boston to even have a chance at playing for one. So far, that doesn't look like it's a possibility. Will that sour Dice on returning to the Pistons?

I know that he said that he doesn't want to be a ring chaser, but man, we don't match up very well against the Celtics.

You are on to something there Jammer

If there is an open slot on Celtics or Cavs team, he may have second thoughts about returning to the Palace as an emplyee of the Pistons especially if he knows that even he isn't good enough to help this squad get past the Celtics...

Almost makes me want him to go somewhere else. Hopefully, this will go a long way in fixing whatever's broken chemistry-wise.

He must can't sell his house either so he has to come back...other wise he must really believe in Joe and MC's system despite their current issues:confused:

The return of McDyess won't solve all our problems, but it does provide that vet (BBIQ) big body that they were lacking in Max and Amir.

Lets give this new unit a pass and review until the end of December and then decide if we need another vet to get us over the hump.

Not related to Dice, but from this artice; this quote is encouraging
After Flip it's a breath of fresh air. Let's see if MC can actually put it into practice. :fingerscr

Kind of stale actually from my viewpoint. You see, Curry pulled our best defensive player - or one of them at least - out of the rotation. Amir should never be pulled out of the rotation. When a coach talks about slippage, when he caused it, by his choices, and does not take the blame - I don't like it. If Curry were to accept some blame, that would truly be a breath of fresh air.
