For the record, I wasn't baked when I made that prediction. ...just optimistic.
Despite Colorado's newfound acceptance of the herb, I only indulge on the rarest of rare occasions.

I think that in 5 years, grass will be legal in every state.

I'd like to see some grass in Michigan. Freakin' snow sucks.

Did the new law change how businesses operate with regards to drug testing?

No offense to anyone who smokes pot, but if you've run a business before, you definitely don't want people who get stoned working for you. Or people not smart enough to beat the piss test if they do drugs.

I believe you, I just wasn't sure if it was legal for businesses to test for a substance that is permitted by state law.

Drug tests would be covered under employment contracts, not statute. So unless the state banned drug tests, there is no change.

Will be interesting if someone challenges a failed test under medical marijuana as a bonafide presciption. Will it be treated like opiate pain pills. Surprised it hasn't came up yet

That's a very different case and I can't think of an employer stupid enough to fire someone over it. That just screams punitive damages

The first one was a joke. I hate polls that are not public.

    2009-2010 - record........... 27-55 .329
    2010-2011 - record............ 30-52 .366
    2011-2012 - record............ 25-41 .379 (strike)
    2012-2013 - record ...........29-53 .354
    .
After all that work this off-season.
After all the hope of our members...
After all the promise of a new coach...
After all the progression of our young talent...

and here we sit at 29-51...not even able to break the 30 win mark.

we need to cheer these last two games so that
maybe we can reach the magical 31 win season...
and beat the victory totals of these last few years.

No one checked the correct box in the poll.

Here were the win total predictions
    :

    BDL 46
    Rascoe 46
    CJ 45.5
    S.J. 44
    Detteam 44
    Laimbrane 43
    Mogilny 43
    Walter 43
    GGazoo 42
    Ernie 42
    McQuack 42
    Linwood 38
    TaS 36
    Laimbeer 35
    Nemo 31

Well, the Pistons ended up at 29-53. Everyone erred on the high side. A couple of us recognized that the team had some talent, but the pieces would not compliment each other enough to result in playoff-level success.

Just wanted to make it clear who invented the term "THE DISASTER ZONE." Wish I hadn't....
