He looks like he's in that commercial with Barkley and Dr. J. "play against the old timers, when they're old."
Dumb Reggie. When he compared Varejowww to Laimbeer I threw the remote at the TV. The only reason I still have a TV is because my aim is worse than Alston's shooting.
His D on LeBron was no worse than Tay's (circa 2009), and he's more prolific offensively, can stretch the floor and is comfortable (and successsful) being the go-to guy. If we can get him without giving up Tay, that would be pretty good. Although if Magic goes to the Finals this year, his price may become too steep.
In every drive to the basket, he lowers that shoulder and plows through people. 99.99% of the time that results in a blocking foul.
Good article on ESPN by Simmons about the Refs and how the NBA could be so much better if the refs were consistent and let the players play. Also, he argues that they should be allowed minor altercations without suspension like in other sports (since they punch like girls and rarely connect anyway). Also, cool fact about the 24 second clock. The guy who invented it figured that each team needed about 60 possessions in a 48 minute game to make it fun to watch. So, that means 120 possessions total in 48 minutes. 48 min x 60 sec per min= 2,880 seconds in a game 2,880 seconds / 120 possessions = 24 seconds per possession So, the number is not as arbitrary as you would think.
Everything about the Cavs is annoying. From James on down. Even their stadium is irritating. Correspondingly the only negative thing to me about the Magic is VanGundy and even he I can stomach most games. Its like Good versus evil in this series. Now that its 3-2 I don't know. Magic have to win this next one.
Just the though of all of LeBron's little fan-boys that like to come around here suffering if they lose makes me root for the Magic.
Considering CLE's perimeter defense is obsolete, i'm not surprised. And christ is their overall defensive strategy stupid. What a satisfying half. Please don't choke ORL. :fingerscr
The commencement of the Cavaliers has begun. It's oooooooooooovvvveeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrr! (barring some epic rigjob)
That's what i'm worried about. The Magic have shown they can come back from big leads . . . and also that they can't hold them. This game gets close and it's trouble. Still LMAO at triple teaming Howard.
I just checked the score for the first time (was watching the Wings). I sure hope the Magic hold on. It could be a double celebration tonight if the Wings and Magic both win.
Oh i know. If the game is close, the refs will start playing for the Cavs. edited to add; Dammit ORL. I'm switching back to hockey.
