It's hard to guard guys like Rondo & Parker these days. That's why you need to give and get. It seems everyone but Joe Dumars realizes this. I'm sure he is locked in the war room right now watching tapes of some 6'4 dude from a small school who played SF but looks like he'll make a nice guard somewhere down the road.

I would absolutely make a run at Hinrich.

Certainly better than a Powell movement...

Rumor is he wants more than $10M. That's kinda steep price.

Man, they shoulda called a flagrant on that one. The fact that they didn't is BS. It is what it is. I watched the replay 6 times. Rondo never had any intention of going for the ball.

However, I'm impressed with the Celtics' desire to win. Pierce is a cold-blooded assasin.

He was trying to hit the rim. Except he was aiming for the second one he was seeing.

That's a travesty...it was every bit as blatant as Dho's whack.

Personally, i'm not a Hinrich fan. He's not a PG and doesn't score enough for an SG, but his defense could be really valuable. Problem is who do you move and where do you play him ?

I think that if given the opportunity, AA can fill that role quite nicely for us.

I agree. They shouldn't have let that one go.

Just put it to this test: what would've been the call if that was Kobe/Wade/LeBron instead of Brad Miller?

Hinrich is pretty decent. He's the oft forgotten guy that got drafted after Darko.

I've switched allegiances. I'm done rooting for BOS.

RealGM • View topic - KG was yelling at VDN?

    The pictures, etc.

KG has managed to annoy me to death when he's not even on the court, and the rest of the Celtics aren't much better.

bla. Go CHI even though you will probably be useless in the next round.

This will sound awfully naive, but I was pretty shocked last night at the blatant Wade homerism from the TNT broadcasters. It was consistent and obvious throughout the game. All the oohs and aahs when Wade was 5-5 in the third when Flip Murray was 6-6 and unmentioned. And all that shocked crap about how in the world could the Atlanta fans boo the great Dwayne Wade? I think it was Fratello who said well, they would probably boo Bird or Magic too - as if there was some comparison. And yes, by the way, it's the home fans job to boo the opposiition.

Pretty good game though. Wade will go off for 60 next game after the botched through the legs breakaway dunk from Josh Smith with a 20 point lead got the Heat bench all hot and bothered. The rest of this series will be chippy and a lot of fun to watch, especially with the sound turned down.
