It's a great point. The Piston's bottom 9 matches up with most teams. Joe Dumars doesn't get enough credit for that.

I'd be absolutely flabbergasted if Miami didn't win a championship this year.

There has been some questionable officiating going against teams that I would have favored to knock the Heat out of it. Two of them so far are fishing, and now it may be Boston and OKC's turn.

JVG just bagged on Doris Burke's Defense while she was in College.

This Miami Boston game is almost in the freezer and we've got 10minutes to go in the 3rd. :(

Even if I were a Heat fan and had season tickets, not sure if sit through a whole season of the arena announcer singing out Dwayne Waaaade every time he scored or assisted on a bucket...

Also when is the last time the Palace handed out color coordinated white or blue shirts at any of our playoff games??? I know its been awhile since the Pistons have played a playoff game, so search your memory banks....

All the Heat white and the Thunder Blue seats looked good and was blinding but unfortunately it did not help the Thunder today though.

The Heat should've worn red. Just embrace the devil label.

Walter you got it all wrong. Miami will return to being Miami after Bron is gone.
But Boston will aways be Boston. With their parkay court their umpteen ships their Bird love and the Chief and the rest of those cheats. Lets try and keep our despise in order:
NYK, Boston - whichever has the better team
    Bulls, Lakers -
    76ers, Spurs -
    any team with LB

How is this for a finals matchup: Memphis vs Atlanta:MusicBigGrin:

Both teams win their first round match ups by winning game one and now both have won game one of the second round vs a supposed better team.

Stern will stop that before it gets that close...:)

I had this same thought this morning Dre.
A Grizz vs Hawks matchup would be Sternies worst nightmare.

He might lock the players out prior to game one of that series.

Atlanta sometimes makes me think "wow, this team has actually got alot of pretty good players" but a few minutes later the same guys starts making one awful decision after another and they are back to being the worst good team ever again. My guess is that Chicago wins this in 6 but with Rose hobbled this might get interesting. Check out Rose FT numbers in the playoffs and take a guess when he hurt his ankle.

Yeah, been thinking about the Memphis Atlanta finals as well. I bet Stern would have a heart attack if this happens.

My Celtics are down 2-0. Even though I dislike the Heat, I still thought the Celts would prevail in a hard fought series. They gotta take 2 at home...

Celts need Shaq to play. But I think Shaq is done for the season as well his career in the NBA. He will retire.

I tend to believe that the C's are losing it more then the Heat are winning, but if they Heat have figured things out it makes me wonder if the Pistons should have been more patient with AI.

    Your Celts Nems, !!!

I think Stern might let Grizz and Hawks play having run the Pistons and needing to let things die down.

Celtics go down with lots of blame to spread around. Too slow, too beat up, too old to compete especially once Rondo went down. Garnett has to shoulder a lot of the blame, whether it was the knee or just age, he was not an intimidating presence on the court, and if he can't be that, he's not good enough to carry a team.

But can we all throw up a bit over LBJ's posturing at the end of the game? I kind of like it when guys do something good on the court and then react and show some emotion. It lets you know there's a real heart in there somewhere. But when someone puts on a reaction so meticulously planned, so obviously rehearsed, it'a a mockery. I bet he spends as much time in front of a mirror rehearsing the look as he does watching game film. I bet the posse all get together and work out which muscles to clench and the right angle for his head. He clearly knows exactly where all the cameras are, exactly where to stand to best show off the look. It's sad that such posturing has taken the place of the sheer joy of playing.

And if Durant had done the exact same thing it would have been the most awesome celebration ever. :pound:

Durant hasn't come off as a fake for years.... He spent last summer silently resigning with his team. (no tv show saying here I am look at me), then sitting on the bench at summer league rooting on rookies that weren't even for sure to be on the team, much less helping him make a push towards a title.

The only credit I will give to James is he was clutch last night.... in the semi's of the Eastern Conference. We'll see how he does against a younger team that can play defense.

This 3 headed beast is going to have to find scoring from somebody else game in and game out... its just insane how much the "non 3" don't do... and its just not scoring but rebounding and assists.... there is nobody else on that team that would even start for the Pistons and that is sad.

Nemo's Celtics really let me down.
    SOMEBODY, ...ANYBODY beat these clowns.

My dislike for the "Big 2.5" is almost getting to the level of the Jordan era Bulls.
