    The hit happened late in the third quarter of Sunday's season-opening 9-6 loss, Sims' NFL debut, when Hasselbeck scrambled for five yards.

    Ray Anderson, the NFL's senior vice president of football operations, used it as an example of what not to do in a memo to the league's 32 teams and in a statement released to the media.
