Maybe Joe D should have waited until he finished his career.

Well now since the Lakers have completely annihilated the future hall of famer, even though no-one here will admit the similarities in CB's meltdown in the playoffs his last two year in Detroit, and his play in the last two games of this year playoffs.

Fouling 3 point shooters, his production got progressively worse as the games went on.

I think that CB is one of the one of the most charitable and nicest person in the NBA whom I will always appreciate for bringing that championship spirit to detroit, and then that winning attitude was replaced with something that I won't even attempt to describe in words.

Agree. CB is a class act. Was hoping Denver would pull it out. I hate the Lakers/Kobe and Cavs/Lebron. Lets go Magic. It would be great to be able to root for someone in the finals.

Chauncey is a great player, and one of my favorites, but have to agree with AG about CB's production. It sucks to see him go out like that, but unfortunatly he is used to having it all fall apart in the ECF.

4 straight years of winning 2 games in the Conf Finals for CB??? '06, '07, '08, '09 with a Finals game 7 loss in '05.
    Lot of heartache.

It is a good thing for him that he got a ship or he would be the most frustrated man in the NBA.

What about Dice who went to one finals and three straight ECF's and does not have a SHIP to his credit. Now he may really be frustrated...especially if Adam Morrison wins a ring by sitting down at the end of the Laker bench in sharks skin suit and never breaks a sweat...

CB will be the only player to go to seven straight conference finals and lose in game 6 of his last four .......:sssh:

No one deserves a ring more than Dyess. And he takes the losses harder than anyone.

Denver really could have used Dyess against LA to knock down the J's that Martin was missing. The Lakers would have had to cover him. They also could have used him on Gasol.

I don't think Dyess realized how good Denver was going to be. He should have gone.

If Denver had actually gone on to win the whole dang thing, the poll question is who would have been more upset?

    Joe D
    AI
    Kobe
    LeBron
    McDyess

Dyess would've slowed that team down. Birdman seems twice as athletic.

CB sure seems stuck where he is stuck.
Try not to glote too much G.

Despite their regular season successes, neither Cola, Flip Sr or Karl could get their Billups led teams to win more than 10 games in the post season.

So if you put it in perspective CB needed LB to get past the Conference finals ....and so did the Pistons

If we were LAL we would swallow our pride and would have rehired LB.

I'm keeping my mouth shut on the CB debate. I'm tired LOL. I think it's clear how i feel anyway.

Too bad LB was under contract to the Bobcats at the beginning of the season, otherwise we could have swallowed it and rehired Larry like the Lakers did instead of going with the unproven MC.

Mitch Cupcake knows a HOF'er when he sees one and quickly re-signed the Zen-master.

Oh by the way LB's Bobcats swept Phil's Lakers in their 2 game series this season :sssh:

To further the parallel, LB would have then started dating the owner's daughter.

But LB had a hot young wife and I almost certain that Davidson's daughter Marla is probably older than Larry??
