I kinda like the list the way it is. It was easy to figure the two who were ahead of Isiah, and the only one I forgot when guessing before looking was Payton...After all...I had to save room for Stuckey....
Rip looked excellent last night. Sam Smith (Bulls.com writer) said today that he thinks Rip is / will be their best SG since MJ...
And Hersey has a way cool name. I mean, it's not Rip, which is both way cool and basketball appropriate, but it sure isn't Rusty either.
I usually don't play with guys named Rusty in pick-up games, especially if they haven't played in a while.
Bulls have signed Mike James out of the D-League. I just assumed he was retired. He last played in the NBA in 2009-10 with 4 games for the Wiz. He is now re-united with championship buddy Rip Hamilton.
If James has anything left, he could help that team. They don't have anyone with anything resembling a streak of meanness.
Good game by the Clips to take down the Heat last night. Chauncey didn't shoot well, but ended up with a nice box score while CP3 had a really strong game. Reggie Evans with 8 rebounds off the bench, proving to be a good pickup for them for cheap. I think this proves that the Clips are for real. Chauncey seems to be blending in perfectly. He's still scoring, assisting, and getting to the FT line, but just at a slightly lower volume than before.
I watched part of that game last night and he just kinda sood back behind the arc and waited for CP3 or Griff to kick it out. He could play well into his 60's if this is his role.
maybe we should sigh this guy for our pf http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-wojnarowski_rasheed_wallace_nba_return_011212
We need a Rasheed Wallace Quote........one for the current team......... "Keep us on the back-burner. We won't lose our swagger at all, because when you put that food on the back-burner, it's just simmering and it tastes better. When you got that food on the front burner, that's the one you're paying attention to the most, and that's the one that might burn. We're on that back-burner.” or maybe this one is more reasonable........... “It's still too early to say what we're gonna look like and what we're gonna to do.”
Mr. Big shot does it again after almost being the goat 20 (long) seconds earlier throwing away a pass and losing one out of bounds as the Clippers outlast the world champs 91-89. I wished I had been there....(I was at Staples on Monday when they beat the Nets). Meanwhile Mavs lose their second game in a row at the buzzer.
Hubert Davis is doing color analysis for college hoops. He might be (statistically) the greatest three point shooter the Pistons ever had.
