I believe that time travelers would show up at a desolate location and then dress like us before moving about.
the Prime Directive would prevent them from allowing their identity to be known.
Its the same with aliens...they just move amongst us. I would guess that at least 3 posters here are visitors....:)

This holds true if there is no multiverse.

A space cadet isn't an alien.

Ros, if you believe in a multiverse solution where every possible variant spawns replications for all possible outcomes, then you believe in a reality where in one of those universes, Charlie Villenueva has yet to miss a shot in his glorious career. In that universe, he's 1000x bigger than Michael Jordan ever was, just through pure luck.

I just refuse to believe that nature would allow that to happen.

Just been watching the Indiana - Milwaukee game. Milwaukee competes just fine with Indiana, as long as Middleton is on the floor. With Middleton on the floor, their defense is pretty good, and their offensive rebounding is great. And their offensive sets run smoothly. I can not see why Milwaukee ever chose to go without him at all in this game. He sits, Indiana goes up big. Middleton comes back in, and its a close game all the sudden with Indiana having to call a time out. Anyway, Indiana finally pulled away in the 2nd half of the 4th quarter. Middleton started by the way. Sure could use a player like that on Detroit.

So Middleton can single handedly carry an under-manned Bucks team to victory over the best team in the NBA?
We DO need a player like that in Detroit!

It does sound a bit unbelievable when said like that. So just go look at the game log. Its in there.

The Bucks (2-6) are the second worst team in the entire NBA right now.

Only when they don't properly use Middleton. When the coach decides to win, they are the best team in the entire NBA.

What if Mo Cheeks decided to win and the Pistons went up against the Bucks and Milwaukee's coach decided to win?

Is Middleton playing as himself for the Bucks or will he be merging with Kyle Singler to form Singleton? That's the series to me.

    Refer to Roscoe's multiverse response.

Or 3) this period of time in human history is just SO boring and uninteresting that the future time travelers just don't care enough to go back.

We presume a time machine could take us forwards and back. But what if it can only take us forward?

Its hard to find minutes to KCP, practically impossible to Middleton-type of players. Mo Cheeks obviously wants to win not to "develope rookies" - I'm more than sure - Tom Gores wants playoffs not to hear of "upsides" of long row freshly drafted players. Thats why Dumars traded "upside" for "true PG right now". (Gores probably demanded this type of trade, my wild guess) Also I'm more than sure - Moose does not want to extend contract with lottery team...or you have to pay max a la Cousins case

Dumars had a chance to jump at the next level or stay at the Sactown like quagmire...

That does exist due to relativity. The faster you go, the slower time goes, which was tested by astronauts using an atomic clock. So, megetron travels forward in time each play and his teammates in the huddle are ever so slightly older than him each time.

Backwards in time probably is impossible.

Then it would be called a "long nap" and not a time machine. Ha!
