TaS, the more I watch this team, the more I think that a top 5 pick wouldn't hurt us.

The problem is, this would be the most talented team in league history to earn a top five pick.

    That's just sad.

In 1982, the Lakers became the first and only team to acquire the top pick in the draft after having won that season's championship.....they drafted James Worthy as the # 1 pick and went on to win three more champions with the perennial all star...so we wouldn't be the most talented when you think about what happen 30+ years ago...

    I wrote "earn", not "acquire".

I had that pick in mind.

That's what I'm afraid of....there is too much talent to avoid finishing in the bottom 8, but there isn't enough of a sensible, cohesive unit to win more than 30-35 games....

Okay see what you mean... It's all about which team can tank down the stretch unofficially by putting key guys on the injured list with paper cuts and shin/knee scars....or old sprain toe bit...

Siva needs a good long test drive so that we can tell if he's capable of leading us to a championship or not. He did it in college, so nobody could blame us if we had faith in him. Also, it's a shame to let all that money go to waste on charlie v without making him break a sweat.

I like the idea of using Siva more. I'm afraid Charlie would put us in the Danger Zone, and his late-season high-scoring games would earn him another contract by some sucker GM.

A summer league favorite of Lee won the D-league dunk contest - Tony Mitchell (6-6).

Laugh, but this guy can cover NBA 2 guards unlike Singler.

It reminds me of the time people laughed at me for suggesting that Brian Cardinal deserved to play.

I heard Austin Daye is going to San Antonio for Nando De Colo.

Am I the only one who can't wait to see what Poppovich can do with him??

He'll have one game on National TV where he puts up 18 and 5, and we will hear about how Joe "Gave him away for nothing" for the next decade.
