Exactly. Drunk driving, illegal firearms possession....these are habits that get innocent people killed.

I am pretty sure that illegal firearms possession is as dangerous as legal firearms possession. Whether or not something is legal/illegal isn't an argument for/against its efficacy or morality.

How many people has Ben Wallace killed with a gun? How many innocent people get killed/beaten by police officers in the US every year?

Being drunk and driving isn't the problem, it's hurting someone that's the problem.
Being licensed to own a firearm isn't the problem, it's shooting people that's the problem.
Spending cap space isn't the problem, signing Charlie Villaneuva is the problem.

You really should need a license to sign Charlie Villanueva.

Well, Ben is going to spend a few days in jail. Hopefully, he gets it all sorted out.

I don't want to start any controversy here, but being that this was in the middle of the night in VA and no one was hurt, I probably would have thought about leaving too. We had a case just a few months ago about a guy having a car accident in South Carolina and when he tried to get help from someone, he was shot dead by the police because the home owner thought he was going to be harmed.

I mean he could have got a buddy to pick him up and then reported the accident to the local authorities and his insurance company and had them contact the owner of the property for restitution before being arrested......would it have been considered a crime then? Was it proven that he was drunk when the accident occurred?

Most of the time when a driver just leaves the scene under these circumstances, he is trying to avoid a drunk driving charge.

I can understand him leaving the scene of the crime if he was concerned about a confrontation with an angry owner.
He had to have understood the circumstances of leaving his vehicle behind to be discovered.
If he called and explained the situation, (why he felt the need to vacate)...then nothing should happen to him.
If he had high alcohol blood levels, then leaving must have looked to him like the best option.

I wouldn't have even called a tech if I was reffing that. Kind of whining considering he was a bad boy that had teammates that dished that out on a nightly basis.

I'm pretty sure you are joking. That hit was nasty. Probably a 10-game suspension today.

Maybe the blow to the head caused a little memory lapse. What goes around...

Depends on who is delivering the blow to whom. If it is Roy Hibbert clocking Chris Paul, it is a 10-game suspension. If it is LeBron clocking Brandon Knight, it's probably a jump-ball.

I wasn't joking. He just ran into him with his arms up. It's not his fault he weighs more.

Malone targeted his elbow for Zeke's head. he added velocity just before impact.

Great shooter for his height. 10 of his 13 shot attempts last night were uncontested. That's why he can thrive there.
