Just come to the draft late and you will get the first pick. It worked for me in football and basketball this year...:stirthepot:

Take another look. It appears to have somehow...changed...a bit.

I like my team too. Funny, I don't remember drafting David Wright or Jose Reyes, but they will sure help.

I think there was a mistake on Aurora's St. Louis Cardinals draft roster. I was astonished to see that Troy Tulowitzki and Chris Young, who I am sure I drafted because I drafted them in five...five...mock drafts previous to our live draft, do not appear on my team. Instead they are on the Keweenaw Tigers. Please correct this grievous error asap. I really appreciate your immediate attention and whoever is the owner of the Keweenaw Tigers...well...I just don't know what to say. Let's play ball.:)

Hey Tiger guy, I can make Troy happier than you can. I spoil my pets rotten. Just ask Buster Posey how large he's living right now.

    FYI,

I changed the maximum moves per year from unlimited to 100.

This prevents some clowns [STRIKE]* cough Darth Tater and Bill Laimbeer cough*[/STRIKE] from Tatering you to death. [STRIKE]Improbable as it seems[/STRIKE] Bill Laimbeer had a good suggestion [STRIKE]for once in his life[/STRIKE] so I am here to publicly thank him without trying to get a shot in at him. Thanks , Bill!

I hope this change benefits everyone [STRIKE]except those of the Cannuckian persuasion.[/STRIKE]

    Signed,

    Your Commissioner (from Hell)

The season starts on THURSDAY. 2 DAYS away. Don't forget to set your rosters.

    (Daily lineups).

Good luck everyone. (Ironically, the two ladies play this week. (Kimmee and Jammer).

Geez. I hope I still have some of my 100 allotted roster moves left by Thursday. :yellowprison::doh::MusicBigGrin:

Why is my team still playing exhibition games on Thursday? Is that Seahawk lineup a split squad??:pound:

I apologize Jammer. I had no business airing YOUR dirty laundry in public.

Ok, I can't count, but irregardless the season DOES start Thursday. Anyone who is NOT playing a Cannuckian will need to set their lineup if they want to have a shot at winning.

Oh, and I just learned that week one does NOT only run for 4 days. That's a really good thing (and not only because it gives me an extra week to pummel Rascoe and his Bad News Polar Bears). :)

Week one in our league runs from March 31st until April 10th!!

Thanks DT. I had set my lineup just in case.

Season begins in a few hours. Did everyone set their lineups. Make sure you do or you may end up next to Jammer in the final standings.

@ Bill Laimbeer...sorry man. I looked at your lineup. You must have missed the draft. I may have given you the wrong time and date, buddy. No worries...there is always next year.

    @ Rascoe.

In about two hours my squad will point out all of the deficiencies in the team you built. No need to express appreciation. (But don't worry. You won't do quite this poorly when you play the other teams in our league). Well, at least any false hopes you had will disappear by the end of the day.

Are you REALLY putting THOSE guys in your lineup against me on opening day? For real? Seriously? :pound: I thought you had forgot to set your lineup or something.:wedgie:

You not only gave me the wrong time and date, you also gave me Albert Pujols. Man, you are so cruel. :pound:

I knew very well he was the consensus number one, but I've never been a Pujols fan. I know it shouldn't matter but it does.

LOL. I'm sure he will be great as he is consistently. Year after year.

Wow. I wish I had got rid of Volquez a day earlier,. I just checked and he gave up 3 runs with only one out. That means I will have an ERA of...what's 81 x 9? 729?:pound:

Pujols started his game off 0 for 2. It's pretty obvious to me that he is over the hill and in the midst of a prolonged season slump. What a wasted pick for you.

My pick, Votto, already hit a 2 run homer, by the way.

Gosh, Bill. Your guy that I passed up with the first pick, Pujols, went 0 for 5 today. I'm beginning to worry he is injured or something. I wonder if they plan to shut him down for the remainder of the season? :boink::rofl:
