Actually the amazing thing about this game is that Cain and Hamels homered off of each other............in the same inning.

Sometimes I really admire the way you are so on top of everything in the league. Your dedication, enthusiasm, knowledge, commitment, etc.

Other times I think you are an obsessive nut.

Doesn't matter if you are winning or losing to me.

I'm guessing that in the past you were reluctant to join some past fantasy leagues because you knew that you were going to be all of the above. I could be wrong, of course.

I'd be very surprised to learn that you followed the entire league this closely before deciding to make a full commitment to this?

I still DO enjoy it when your team gets stomped every week, but not to the point that you wouldn't play next time (if I happen to join again, myself).I used to play and watch tennis all the time. It got pretty boring when John Macanroe (sp?) quit.

I just want this week to end. Ive been wanting that since the first night. My opponent has hit an astounding 23 homers. I expect him to end up with 26-27. Somehow I edged in front of him 6-5 last night and I've played mediocre ball. I am just hoping to keep this close although the potential for him to take it 8-4 looms ominously overhead.

I try to give the people 1/3 reports on my team........1/3 informational nuggets...........and 1/3 rable-rousing.
Rascoe seems to like the nuggets. I think others are reading........but don't care to add information at mine-your pace.

I didn't follow at all before joining any league.

I'm a very thorough person, attention to details and such..................just ask my wife............
I just checked for the first time today at 3pm............and you're at 8-4............like you were yesterday.
Sad to hear that you were up 6-5 then went backwards............

I only worry about you getting stomped when I play you.
I DO like to leave you and Bill messages during your weekly contests.............I hope you enjoy those...:)

Not much to play for now except crushing nemo again...Ho Hum.

At least 26 homers for ny opponent. A couple of bad breaks. Pitching melt downs. At least the week is over.

I think nemo will crush Baseball Team. I doubt he has much left.

Can't wait to look at the standings tomorrow...........there will be a clodule of teams from 3rd to 9th.......all very close.

As far as Baseball goes............I just hope his pitching doesn't heat up like his hitting.

I respect his team. After all he has crushed me twice. Still, I will predict that he gives up around five runs average this week and hits between 259 and 280. He hit 26 home runs against me, you know. he will get less than 10 against you.

I haven't really looked closely at the standings but I pretty sure I will be in ninth place. That means I need to pass three teams to get into the playoffs. Not that that matters for me anyhow. I think the talent level of my team is equivalent to those in the pack. But I'm no better. My team does not have the talent to catch up.

Too bad for me. But I had a great day in the real world as I learned my wife is not allergic to the kitten we plan to purchase! :-) so I am kind of ecstatic, LOL. I've wanted one for years. Unfortunately, I am pretty sure We are going to hear very bad news on our 6 year old dog tomorrow. I am not a canine person but it is a nice animal. Life in the real world balances out just like in the fantasy world doesn't it? You are smiling one minute and frowning the next. It is what it is. :)

Glad to hear the wife is not allergic to cats............
Both my wife and I are allergic.
Sorry about your dog...........I've never owned a pet, but I know they can be comforting.

Wow...........Baseball Time holds 5 of 6 weekly hitting records. He set 3 last week against Darth Tiger, and 2 the week before.
He also has 3 season hitting records. Quite a turnaround from such an ominous start. I do expect to have to battle to win any hitting category against him this week.

Nice job to Jammer as he tied my wins mark with 7. :crying:

He picked up 3 wins on Saturday to set the weekly wins record.

    Considering the quality of opponent...11

But my guys are primed for a maximum effort...So

    Prediction:

    Bezeach -7

    Darth-5

    No matter either way.

But make no mistake. We WILL be paying attention on Nemo week. :)

Bezeach hit 4 homers Monday night.
Reminds me of what happened last week (baseball Time hit 6 against me on day 1 last time.

He has 3 pitchers going twice. I have none. All 3 pitched really well. My guys didnt play bad at all, but same ole same ole with scheduling. Baseball team, by the way, didn't hit any homers day 1 against you. Odds caught up with him from last week.

I looked at your results day 1............you're snakebit lately.............

    9 runs, 4HRs, 10 RBIs, .410 BA.............2 wins, 1 save, 22 Ks................might as well be 12-0

Last week, Jammer picked up his only HOLD of the season to tie me...............
He also tied me in WINs when he won 3 on Saturday...........as Sale and Cain got clobbered.............(damn hot Tigers :))
I coulda beat him 8-4, but I'm not complainin..............as he also ALMOST came back to take HRs and RBIs from me.......
I won those two by one each......................:)

What's interesting is that I play Whifffff the last week before the playoffs.
I have a feeling some people will fall that final week......................don't want it to be me.

Got 3 wins in a row over Round, Jammer, and Baseball Time. This is my best stretch of fantasy so far.
Now I play Laimbeer. Against the weaker competition I usually lose......so have at it Bill. :)
