Fantasy Baseball 2012 Sign UP

The birds are singing and soon the bees will be buzzing.Therefore it is getting near the time for baseball.

Looks like we are going to do this. Believe me, until a couple days ago, I had absolutely no inclination or intention whatsoever to join a baseball league this year. But then...

We still need someone to step up and be commissioner. Preferably someone who has played in our fantasy baseball league in the past and has never stepped up and run a league on.

It's GENERALLY very easy to do (unless there is an issue) and tough to screw up (I've only seen it done once here...and that was me ) But anyhow uhmmm...do we have a leech smiley?

But you are still welcome to sign up anyhow. Lame volunteered to do the job if nobody else will.

Baseball is a bat-and-ball sport played between two teams of nine players each. The aim is to score runs by hitting a thrown ball with a bat and touching a series of four bases arranged at the corners of a ninety-foot diamond. Players on the batting team take turns hitting against the pitcher of the fielding team, which tries to stop them from scoring runs by getting hitters out in any of several ways. A player on the batting team can stop at any of the bases and later advance via a teammate's hit or other means. The teams switch between batting and fielding whenever the fielding team records three outs. One turn at bat for each team constitutes an inning and nine innings make up a professional game. The team with the most runs at the end of the game wins.

I've been to see something like this a few times. Only then, a short, grey haired man, kept coming out to yell at the guys in deep blue jackets. He was entertaining.
