In a friends league and draft is in 4 hours, 6 teams and I guess the rest of the league decided not to join. League Commish said send out an invite to get anyone to hopefully get at least 10. If anyone doesn't have one or doesn't mind picking up another one, I'd greatly appreciate it. Head to head yahoo league. League ID#: 290562 League Name: Reese Gaines Memorial League Password: howl
Oops sorry I just registered a team on here before reading there were 12. Why did it let me. Not sure what to do. Any ideas? KidStealth and Commish, you don't want 14 right? Right now there are 14 registered teams. I'll delete mine if you want. Just tell me before the draft starts so I know. Sorry I didn't see Bill Laimbeer's signup until after I registered.
Okay. 14 is a lot of GMs though. Won't be much left in the free agent pile. But what I'm psyched about is that it's a daily league. Yeah! Laimbs, it's on!!!
One of the members of Team Laimbeer should be able to manage a daily league team... :P Gunna move this thread to the Games forum...
I can't trust my kid anymore. He put J.R. Smith (suspended for the first 7 games) and Jason Richardson (injured) on my active Keeper roster for the first week. Nothing like playing 7 vs. 9 in the opening week....
Rascoe, I would appreciate it if you put would give "Tatering" a definition so I could run my mouse over it and be educated...
Tatering is when you try to outsmart yourself by dropping and adding players to get more total games in during a week of fantasy playoffs. It is named after Dorkus Taterus, famous Idahoan fantasy sports player and all around silly guy.
If you're going to define tatering, then you have to define sprocketing too. That's when one of your players falls onto another of your players and they're both out for a month.
Kind of like a shlemiel and a shlemazel. You rememer the Laverne and Shirley theme song? In Yiddish, a shlemiel is someone who spills hot soup into the lap of someone else. The shlemazel is the one who the soup lands on. Sounds like your guys are both of those. Ouch!
