One thing I noticed from last season. Fanatasy playoffs are the last few reg season games. So if you have some players from winning teams that already locked in their seeding then don't expect much from them stats wise.
great article, explains most of the things a rookie (like) would ask for. That's what a good explanation should look like- leaving (almost) no questions open.
On the Yahoo league standings page there is a column headed "Waivers". What does this mean? I've only waived one player but I show a value of 5.
The lower the # the better. If a player is on waivers and multiple teams try to pick him up, the one with the lowest value will get him. The # will change everytime you pick up a waived player (get higher) and is set initially based upon draft order.
...just to elaborate more. When you execute your waiver privilege your waiver priority moves to the bottom of the queue. Example: Your waiver priority is 4 out of 14 teams You attempt to pick up a free agent off waivers Everyone else who attempts to pick up the free agent has a waiver priority greater than 4 You aquire the free agent Your waiver priority is now set to 14 Another GM picks up a player off waivers successfully That GM's waiver priority is now set to 14, your waiver priority is now set to 13
