After another failed week...I've decided that from now on...my guys are playing for pride...:)

Oh wait...I play Aurora next week. Maybe, just maybe...

Aurora's loss must have been heartbreaking. So close and sooooo...many points scored.

She played my guys extremely tough. I just knew she was going to beat me. Hell, she still may beat me if there is a negative stat correction made to my team in any way. One tenth of a point is a crazy margin of victory.

If her guys play like that next week, you are in trouble!

I'm in trouble just based on the way my guys have been playing recently...

It was a slow/low week for scoring. Some guy had 4 GBPs including Aaron R and i kicked his azzzz.
Both of my teams are so sound and healthy they just keep owning.

Oh brother. Beat by .10. If I had had the guts to play Jacoby Ford instead of yawn yawn Mike Williams I would have won by nearly 10 points. I am so done with Mike Williams! I did not even pay attention to any of this honestly until I got a text from Darth. It would have been a heartbreaking loss if I was still paying attention! As it is it tells me to take risks and not play these safe losers anymore. I'm worried about McFadden's ankle!

I'll take Mike Williams if you want. I play you this coming week, and I promise to start him...:)

Aura, I think i know NFL and I'd say it's a 50/50 prop to guess the best matchup.
Cause right when you're sure Brady can throw for 4 TDs he lets his RBs run it in.

As I reflect on my first season, I examine which of my draft picks have met expectations. Of all these picks...only 4 of them were regular starters for me. Starters that I could count on. Drew at #1, Turner at #2, Hernandez at #13, and Robbie Gould at #15. I drafted 3 WRs in my top 7 picks and none of them remain with the team. I traded away my #4 pick for a solid WR, who has yet to produce. I drafted a defense with a 6th round pick, and they fell flat too many weeks. My current Defense is a top 6 in this league...so I made a partial save there.

My biggest sadness is that I've made many pickups during the season...and none of the position players have struck gold for me on my roster. Granted, I don't set my alarm like BillLaimbeer or Darth Tater to get the first available scraps, but I would have thought that a couple of these retreads would have paid dividends.

With all that being said...I've enjoyed this experience...except for the fact that Aurora has not had the fortune that she deserves....

I still hope to finish above Drath and Any Given Sunday though and will continue to strive to make the playoffs.

You are setting yourself up for failure with these unrealistic goals.

Some of my predictions are unrealistic. That's what makes them interesting...and fun...

I was kidding , of course. You've scored the 9th most points out of 14 teams so you're right on the fringes of the playoffs with about seven other teams. Hopefully you are having fun. It seems like you are with all the smack coming out of your camp. :lalala:

    Smack has been a letdown.

-Laimbeer just keeps telling me he loves you.
-You only feel sadness about your scheduling woes.
-Aurora has been an absentee issuer of smack...
-very little mocking or insulting over trades, drops, routes, and other results........

If love and respect is what you are looking for, try joining Jammer and Drath's gin rummy league.

Treat today as the highlight of your season as you are tied with me. Next week at this time, when you look below you in the standings, you won't be seeing my squad. AnyGivenSunday is poised to make its run. Witness the event firsthand.

Drath's Spoilers are undefeated ( 2-0 ). The remainder of the season I play teams that currently have fewer points than my team does. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Just sayin'...:football:

Hey, does anyone want to join my Gin Rummy league?
