@ Mossberg...Yep. An absolute MUST win for BOTH of us.

We have five (5) guys going on Thanksgiving. Three (3) are mine).

Then you have two (2) going on Monday night. I hate it when my opponent has guys going on a Monday. :fear:

@ Laimbeer...What "kind words"? I don't even remember mentioning you in my post??

I can only hope that I win this coming week....but

    If 5 piece chicken McNabbitts also wins... :) :) :) :) :) :)

    1. I face him in the final week of the regular season...

    2. We'll have identical records if we both win or both lose...

    3. If were both fortunate enough to be at 7-5...a playoff spot may be the prize to the winner...

A glorious victory with bragging rights...will await the victor.

    DA RAIDERS rule..............

@ nemo...I'm pretty sure that in any football league I've been in that 8-5 guaranteed a playoff spot.

@ Mossberg...Yahoo projects your team to get 109 points. That's crazy. Lucky for me your team has to actually earn the points...but still...Yikes!!

If the projections held true, I'd be undefeated this season! :ouch:

My guys seem to have bad days all on the same week, or my opponent seems to have their best weeks ever on me. Hell, Aurora's Wildcats had me shaking in my boots a couple weeks ago. Lately, I've been bucking that trend though. It will be fun to watch.

Harumph! I call unsportsmanlike conduct kicking the worst team in the league when they are so far down. Don't you think we are miserable enough without having to take hits like this as we sit on the sideline of all the fun shaking our heads wondering how our draft day dreams disappeared pretty much from Day One? We had three starters not even play last week and two on the bench that we KNEW about! What a mess! For those of you still in the playoff hunt, good luck. It looks like it's going to be fierce!

Darth...I looked to see how your team was doing this week. You got 95 points, but your defense let you down. I'm sorry as I was hoping that you would make the playoffs. I'm 22 points down after tonights action, but I've got Drew Brees, Marcus Colston, and another WR from New Orleans going tomorrow night, so there's hope.

I don't look forward to playing your team next week as you average more points than I do.
If you want to take pity on me...it's ok if you start some weaker players...:)

I checked this morning. i honestly wasn't paying too much attention last night since my Eagles and fantasy team were doing lousy anyhow.

Between Desean and Percy they missed at least three touchdowns that easily could have been.

I think after today, my team will have had the most points scored against it than any other team in the league. That's hard to overcome but my fantasy league luck has been eerily crappy for the last 3 years, so i expect it.

I actually could still make the playoffs, I think.

If I win next week and Webz loses against Motown, I think I'm in based on points tiebreakers with the other hopefuls. Or if we both win our games, i would need to outscore him on points for the year. Oddly, we are virtually tied.

If Guac beats TFD, which he will if Pierre thomas doesn't get 14 points tonight (which he very likely will not), then he would be in the mix too. He hasn't scored many points this year (been extremely lucky on the scheduling, though), then a couple other teams would be in the mix too.

Nemo, if you beat me AND Webz loses to motown, then it will come down to a points battle with you and Motown. You guys are even right now.

I don't think Laim and Big gurlz can get in with any tiebreakers based on their lower point totals.

I may have missed something. like i said, I only did a fairly quick scan this morning. this morning,

Bezeach, Mossy, Jr., Thee, (and probably Guac) are all in, I believe.

Frustrating year for me. I am around the 3rd highest scoring team, but the schedule probably killed me and will cause me to miss the playoffs. Nothing I could do about that. Luck of the draw. That was the cue for the violinist...:violin:

You don't want the playoffs with a 7-6 record. You only want to see playoff teams with at least an 8-5 record.
If I pull this week out after tonight...then all you have to do is lose this comng weekend, and I'll be 8-5...
    .................a quality playoff record

You shoulda played BenJarvus Green-Ellis. I gave you a solid player and you benched him.

With him...you had a victory in hand this week.

Should have made the playoffs a top 8 instead of 6 with the amount of teams we had this year... At least 8 teams deserve to make it.

Can't you still change it to 8 teams?

Yes it can be changed. HOWEVER, as much as Webz and I...and anyone else... would like to slip in there, it wouldn't be fair to the other teams (decreases the odds of their winning). I know that I wouldn't want to get in under those circumstances. Good thought but knowing the Aussie he won't like the idea. Anyhow, as for me it wouldn't help...it would just prolong my agony.I haven't made it out of the first round in like 3 years :deathstar1: regardless of talent level! Hell, I can't even get by Laimbeer.:bs:

Have to agree with Darth here..........

Darth makes sense with his reasoning...

I wouldn't want to make it as a 7th or 8th seed because If I can't beat Darth in week 13, than I wouldn't deserve to go with my shameful 7-6 record...if I happen to win this week after tonight's action.
