Actually, I figured out that I was mathematically eliminated last week. I would have played BenJarvus Green-Ellis this past week if I knew I had a chance to make the playoffs. Plus, Drath told me to sit him since he was going up against the vaunted Eagles defense.

Yes, well said mate. Changing the rules at this late point is a bit of a no-no in my opinion. I'm sure the owners who were looking forward to that 1st round bye would be slightly aggrieved. It will be something to implement next season if most are on board and we have more than 12 teams.

Both my leagues were tight this week but I won here, the one I needed more.
At Fox the dude had Brees, I had Manning and Jacobs not enough.
But I did have 70 points on the bench.

Well Darth...our long awaited matchup is here. I'm actually sitting in 5th place...currently in the playoffs, while you are in 7th place....currently out...

I must respect your point total as it reflects a 7-8 point per week advantage over my team.
Actually...you are 4th in the league for fantasy points. Problem is...your opponents have good weeks when they play you, as you've had the 2nd most fantasy points scored against you this season...

You've stated that your team is ready...Mine appears to be ready also.

Here is the Lineup I may use against you, and their scores from this just completed week....

    QB - Drew Brees - New Orleans - 45.32

    WR - Lance Moore - New Orleans - 17.40

    WR - Johnny Knox - Chicago - 23.16

    WR - James Jones - Green Bay - 15.40

    RB - Maurice Morris - Detroit - 12.00

    RB - Michael Turner - New York - 6.40

    TE - Aaron Hernandez - New England - 6.20

    K - Robbie Gould - Chicago - 12.00

    Defense - Houston - 13.00

    That's a total of 150.88 points.........Those, my friend are..............

    DA RAIDERS...........................

Don't let these one week scores fool you. These guys have been peaking for the last several weeks.
Take a look if you don't believe me. I've won 3 in a row, and hope to make it 4 against your fine squad.............
I look forward to the battle at hand.

This is getting really interesting. LOL

    :pop2:

Week 13 will be fun to watch. How did I manage to play the team with the best record on the final week of the regular season? It would be nice to enter the playoffs by handing them a loss.....:bow1:

I played em the 1st week. Nice intro to the league for me. Fortunately, I handed him his only loss. My team needed 120 points to do it though..........:cold:

Talk about a Hobson's choice. Webz and I will really root for you to knock off Guac because it would mean that we both get into the playoffs IF we can win our matches.

nemo, IF you beat me you are in for sure. IF you lose AND Laimbeer loses, then you are eliminated.

At least i think that is how it works.

I thought about the 8 team playoff more...and the possibility of a losing record getting into the playoffs. That just doesn't seem right. Interesting though that a 7-6 team can make the playoffs in this format of just 6 playoff teams. That's gonna happen when 8 of 14 teams have records between 7-5 and 5-7. I shoulda beat BillLaimbeer when I had the chance...and I'd be in already.

If that were true, I would be the son. I'm much younger (and handsomer) than Drath.

Wait a minute...are you sure...I didn't realize "handsomer" was a word. But I looked it up and you're right...about the word...not the "handsomer."

My postseason depends on Vincent Jackson getting 14 fantasy points tonight!

Darth beat me fair and square...He may have beat me by only 2 points, but we both severly underachieved.

I didn't really want to be a 7-6 team in the playoffs, but it may happen if Vincent Jackson doesn't catch fire...

It doesn't matter if you are 7-6 and get in or 9-4. This stuff is random. Anyone can and DOES win. Just get in and you've got a legitimate shot.

We both played like crap. You just outcrapped me by a little bit. I was lucky to get by you. Especially after seeing Percy Harvin was Questionable Saturday and benching his 30 points for some stiff.
