Webber, try NFLFantasy they have divisons. Any group over 10 is too big.

    ...I'm actually thinking about this.
I hate football but so many of my buddies go on and on about how fantasy football is fun.

It looks like my hypnotism classes are finally starting to pay off. You are getting sleeeepy.

It's all or nothing. You win that week. Or you lose that week. Nothing in between. It is easy to learn but different than the other sports.

It would be lots of fun to see those inebriated rabid Squirrels running around in circles chasing their tails.

Do it. I'm from Sweden, so I don't even understand why the ball looks like it does but I still MASSACRED the PF-field in my first ever regular season two years ago thanks to the soft competition here.

Hey guys, I'm happy to introduce both features jnr suggested. They have been around for a while and won't take much figuring out.
    I propose:
    a) 0.5 per reception (not making WR's and pass catching RB's too valuable. Can evaluate after the season whether this is sufficient).
    b) a RB/WR flex spot replacing the 3rd WR spot.

Your pre-draft homework should include receptions for both RB's and WR's (TE's won't be affected that much). Or at the very least, note the RB's who catch a lot of passes and look to give them a bump up your rankings. Guys like Forte and Sproles should get a bump. Guys like Turner and Wells, not so much.

Implementing both PPR and Flex should also help balance out the Flex spot even more. In the past it would have been a no-brainer to put a RB in your flex spot, but this is no longer the case.

    All in favour?

Zero. No points for receptions previously.

We have 7 confirmed including yourself.
BDL is a maybe and I haven't seen official confirmation from TheeTFD (just general comments). If they confirm that's 9. I haven't counted myself as I'm not sure I can participate this year.

I think no more than 12 is optimal for a football league. So we still have room.

I'm going to be on the road, out of the country for an extended period (coming to USA/Canada for some of it) and I won't be able to give fantasy, nor the season my full attention unfortunately. I can probably still participate in TPG, but I may not be very successful with only half an eye on the ball.

Bill has kindly offered his services to commish this league but I am still helping co-ordinate the setup/participants.

PS - If anyone has any experiences/advice to share about the National Parks of Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Montana, or the Rockies in Canada, send me a PM!

    Webz,

You might consider starting a thread in the Green Room on the parks. Many people don't read the fantasy threads and you may miss out on some great advice. I've opened several threads asking for information. The responses are far greater than I ever hope for. I've opened them on dogs, visiting opposing arenas, buying computers, and other stuff. People are super helpful in here. I've received some terrific information that way.I live not that far from those parks but I've never been to any which is a shame.

I've played in PPR leagues, and actually I very much prefer them. It makes it more exciting. .5 per reception is the number we always used. Flex spots are fine. Whatever. I'll adjust...and suck regardless. :)

The only setting I care about is the draft type. I much prefer snake style live drafts.

There's quite a bit in this thread about the the areas you mentioned:

    http://www.pistonsforum.com/threads/favorite-vacation-spot.5501/

As I mentioned in the thread, I've been to Arches in Utah with my wife for an anniversary trip [I just realized that I said honeymoon in the thread but I meant anniversary]. We loved it.

    WEBZ..............

I did go to Yellowstone 20 times so far, and I was married at the Old Faithful Inn.
Matter of fact.......I'm leaving for there now, on an anniversary trip.
Don't tell Darth..........he likes to annoy me about being gone from fantasy baseball.
Wow.......I'd better set my baseball lineup now for Laimbeer's challenge gift next week.

Yea.........I know. I missed my comeback where I scored 38 runs in 3 days............:)
Not sure how my squad will do, now that Hamilton has been a head case for the last 7 weeks.
Finally bumped him out of the starting rotation.
