Yeah. I initiated it. http://www.pistonsforum.com/news/9857-moving-forum-new-server.html When I checked the live stats, no one was posting, so I quickly shut the site down. But you must have clicked reply in that 30 seconds and started writing your response. You wouldn't have seen site offline until you hit submit. It was really just bad luck. I try to do maintenance when traffic is at it's lowest. I could wait a little later into the morning, but I was passing out last night, and afraid the forum would stay offline until I woke up which could have been around 10 am or so. I can only stay up so late to do sensitive stuff like this that requires a sharp mind.
Cpanel doesn't do the work. I tried to think of a good analogy but couldn't. Anyway, the rebuilding of the forum search takes place in the forum software, vBulletin.
I'm gunna do maintenance again tonight HQ. Just a heads up. I usually post it in the News Forum at the top of the board. Sorry again.
Its OK...it was a great post though..My all time 10 with supporting information so outstanding, so incredible!!! it was aa poignant as watching the evolution of a mountain SOARING ABOVE THE MAJESTIC PLAINS ON THE WINGS OF AN EAGLE!!!!!!!!!!!,,, it was pretty good..........
