I'd like to take this time to say atleast Flip won't have to spend a great deal of time packing up his household to move.... since he never bothered to move his family here.See how great a person he is, he didn't want to have to make his wife move twice in 3 years... what a long range thinking man.
Well, after the death of a PC and an acquisition of a new Mac, I can barely contain my joy. I'm not sure I'm sold on Curry. But, for now he's saying all the right things and I'm really really hoping he follows through. If he's half as tough as he's talking, then Sheed will respect him and won't be ticked that he has to go out and perform a faulty game plan. I have consumed many alcoholic beverages to celebrate this momentous occasion. Excelsior!!! :p_welldone:
Welcome back Low...I thought maybe you had flown to Detroit to personally help Flip pack his bags and he had you tied up in his basement for orchestrating his exodus!!
Most likely. Also running it 24/7 didn't help either. HP has had it since the 9th and I'm probably not getting it back until the 25th or later. Hello Apple!
Frankly, my PC dying happened at the right time. I needed to refocus my priorities, let the dust (and my disgust) settle, and re-evaluate my thoughts. Honestly, not being able to do any work (outside of work) and/or obsess about the P's did me some good. I feel pretty refreshed. But, if I had flown to DET (which I will now NEVER be doing with the inception of full body (read: nude) scanners at the Vegas airport), it would have been to fill a bag with excrement, place it on Bill Davidson's doorstep, light it on fire, and tape a note on the door short, but sweet reading: Just so it would be clear that perhaps he is not a good person and would not be eligible for re-hire....
Why thank you. I've always admired the stability and efficient memory allocation of Macs, but have been really chained to the applications that required windows. However, I'm not a full convert just yet. I'm still running BootCamp with Vista because my newly repaired laptop (just been dropped off by FedEx a full week ahead of schedule) is my second install of Adobe CS3. I can't exchange it for a Mac version just yet. Otherwise, I'd be limited to only having it on the desktop machine and not being able to have a mobile copy (which I use more often than not). But, as soon as I can pony up for a mac laptop, I'll be there! ....besides, going 2 full weeks or so with no access to half my email accounts and other necessary items was no fun...the only thing I was able to do in the meantime was get really familiar with my XBOX360 and GTAIV.
I'm so sorry to hear you feel that way. I, on the other hand, will be swaggering through the Vegas scanners with PRIDE. :winner_first_h4h: I only hope the hordes of autograph-seekers don't make me miss my flight.
He won't get one this time around, but he'll almost certainly have some offers after next season when one of any number of bad-to-mediocre teams make a coaching change.
