Best awards for his career...far of Detroit.

Wizards situattion with potentially second pick and healed Arenas will be good to return play offs next year with flip but i prefer he coach more near detroit,in rostov or durban city.
He has not wining spirit, good coach for a no contender team

This is a good thing. One less team to worry about.

Perfect for him. The Wiz play no defense and won't get to the ECF so he can't choke it away anyway.

Man if Curry stays another year it's going to be sad to see Flip Saunders out-coach Curry

If our problems are not addressed in the off-season Flip will be having the last laugh come playoff time next season.

As long as you make your shots, the defense takes care of itself!

What i don't get is to me Eddie Jordan essentially = Flip, and EJ was much better at coaxing effort/motivational stuff.

Why fire him if you're only going to go out and get almost the exact same coach?

Taking that a step further, why did the Pistons fire Saunders and get a replacement coach that is in way over his head?

Well technically we hired a coach that was supposed to be the opposite of Flip so we were looking for something different that obviously did not materialize.

The Wiz are an offensive team that fired an offensive coach to hire an offensive coach . . .

I'm not a big EJ fan, but it is really hard to do less than Curry did with that much talent.

It's not their records as much as the fact that they advocate the same style and are both lacking defensively.

The Wizard's problems have always been on the defensive end which is what i assumed they were going to fix when they got rid of EJ.

Talk to the hand for the people who are dissing Flip :loser:. I'm currently living in Maryland but I am a Pistons. However your loss is our gain because this hometown can use someone like him who can get a team back to a winning season. I am for once is excited for this news and the prospect of getting a high draft pick choice this season.

Flip will twitch his way to a slight improvement for the Wizz next year.

They'll win 25 games instead of the 19 that they won this year.

    Somebody had to do it...

CB vs Agent Zero (this season for CB, 06/07 for A0)

    FG% - 42% vs 42% (gee, AI doesn't look so bad)
    3% - 41% vs 35%
    RPG - 3.0 vs 4.6
    APG - 6.4 vs 6.0
    SPG - 1.2 vs 1.9
    TPG - 2.3 vs 3.2
    PPG - 17.9 vs 28.4

Flip & Gil (assuming he can lace them up 70 or so times next year) could be a pretty lethal combination.
