i'd call him a winner, he does win alot more then he loses.... but he's never been called a champion and I doubt he ever will be.

Flip blamed his failure to get beyond the conference finals on injuries (Billups last year and Sheed in 2006). So expect him to blame his [strike]twitcher[/strike] I meant twitter buddy~ agent zero on their failure to make it next season:)

I was hoping that he would say that Sheed's edict of "10 wins per post-season with Flip at the helm", was the reason.

He's definitely a winner...Not a champion though. That's a small select group which may elude his coaching career...

The website is living up to it's name of Truth and Rumors:) I like the first comment stating that Lebron maybe behind the proposed firing ala the Magic Johnson incident back in 1981..

Are you kidding me? I would take that talent pool any day of the week! Sure, they have knuckleheads but it seems fairly obvious you need a tough coach to get the most out of those guys. They are being allowed too much freedom and Saunders doesn't have the character/stomach to pull them into line. There is no way they should be as bad as they are.

This guy says the Wiz are only better than the Cavs and Raptors: http://www.operationsports.com/foru...2-nba-season-final-standings-predictions.html

ESPN says they are the worst team: http://espn.go.com/nba/powerrankings

USA Today says they are the worst team: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/bask...power-rankings-week-one-miami-heat/52398534/1

Fox Sports says they are the worst team: http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/powerRankings

Granted, some of these rankings are because of their record. If you look at previous ranking on these sites, the Wiz generally started the season around 27th or 28th, at the highest.

If you picked the best players from the Wizards and the Pistons...and made one team...I think they would still be a pretty bad team.

It depends on if you used a clueless coach or not.

There is no doubt Dumars has absolutely no plan to restore this franchise to the promised land. My favorite NBA player is my least favorite sports executive. It's just a matter of time before Gores gives him the ax.

Why did you name yourself after Bill Laimbeer rather than Joe Dumars?

I can't even remember why I chose that moniker. I remember trying to sign up as Darth Tater, JammerTime and Lee356, but those names were already taken.

    Ome-say of hIss-tay is Itten-Ray in Ode-kay oh-say Ascoe-Ray oesn't day ust bay E may..:heh:

Your online personality is somewhat like his. Lame was unique. One of my all time favorites, for sure.

Now...Rascoe is another story. I still can't figure out what the connection is between him and either Rasheed Wallace or Vinnie Johnson (his old Microwave moniker).

Yeah. E-lay ticked me off. He took 356, 356.5, and 357 (along with all of his Muppet names):tape::sssh: so when i went to pick a name, all of the good ones were all gone.

    :sneaky:

I better not talk about the General any more unless I do it in secret...like this. I've learned my lesson. I have lost count of the times...actually it was 14...that I've almost got kicked off the forum, quit the forum, or got a verbal arse whooping from Rascoe when I bring up E-Lay). I can do it in code though like I am now...until Rascoe figures it out. But i don't think he will for a long time...As-co Ray is very slow witted).
