NBA.com: Play coach: Site offers fans chance to design Wizards play Did Chauncey Billups tell Flip Saunders that they needed some inbound plays when he got here? Flip still doesn't get it. Wow.
If you are Flip, how do you even co-sign to something like this? I thought that's why that organization payed him, to make up, and try his own plays.
I think this is cool. I'd send in a play if the Pistons held a contest. It's the new, fan-friendly NBA.
They have lost 5 straight games in the last minute of play by a combined total of 11 points...(including a 4 pt loss to the Pistons last week). They need to draw up a crunch time play to win these games...They are up 3 to the Kings right now with 5 minutes left in the 3rd qtr. Lets see if they win or lose this one and if it is on the last play of the game....
Ha-ha -ha The Wiz were down 1 pt with 16 seconds left and Arenas with the ball in his hands and driving......but rookie of year candidate, Tyreke Evans stole the ball from Arenas with 3.4 seconds left and then was fouled by hard luck Gilbert and Evans sunk two foul shots to put the game away. Caron Butler missed a three pointer to tie the game and the Wiz have now lost 6 games in row in the minute. Thats six games by a total of 14 pts.... The fans better hurry and get Flip his game winning play, because he will twitch himself to death if they can't get out of this funk...
I watched one of those games this week, and I could hear Flip yelling, "RUN THE PLAY!" After Zero clanked a 3. LMAO.
Being here in the DC area I will tell you this, these fans will get tired of Flip very quickly. The Wiz have talent, unfortunately Ernie Grunfeld, the DC media and the fans will soon realize hiring Flip was the wrong move.
Mike Wilbon RIPPED Flip on PTI today. If this is allowed to happen, Flip will never coach another team again! My years of ripping him here in the forum is now justified!
If the Wiz roster stays healthy, this team should easily be .500+ and in the playoffs. The talent is definitely there.
Yeah those last six games where they could have gone either way is a coach killer. I mean some of those games the Wiz had three players with over 25 pts each, Agent zero had a triple double in one of them and he missed key ft's in the last 30 seconds to lose it for them. Oh by the way welcome back Dlev ..long time no post...
And our victory spread was the most of the six games they lost with 4 pts, their last loss was by 3, three of the losses were by 2 pts and one by only a single point. I mean you are talking about a couple of missed FT's or a turnover and they could have won all six games...the way Flip's 2006 Pistons did...
Hey Thanks Dre. I was checking in on you guys from time to time but didn`t really have time to post. Things have slowed down a bit. The next few days should reall be slow, waiting on about a 1 1/2 FEET of snow here in DC!! I don`t thin Ernie Grunfeld knows how to pick a coach. Eddie Jordan should have never been fired. He does know talent though....the Wiz have some youngens I would love to see in a Pistons uni....
