Maybe thats what he mutters to himself on his stomping timeout walks..." Why the hell didnt anyone tell me that wasnt Jonas"?
Jerebko bänkas – för att sälja lagkamrat - Sport | SVT.se Looks like Jonas's dad wants to kick Frank and BOT ass!
What they're saying: Jonas Jerebko tells Swedish paper he's unhappy not playing for Detroit Pistons | MLive.com sorry- I meant to post this link.
I think it's hilarious that when asked about being benched JJ responds by saying he doesn't like it and that gets reported as "Jerebko went public with his displeasure." JJ's dad looks like he'd be the second best big man in Detroit. Oh wait, we're not doing that any more, are we? Sorry, my bad.
Who wouldn't want to be the next coach that Joe fires with 3 years still left on his deal? It's free money.
I think Joe should call D'Antoni and offer him a contract starting as soon as he's fired by the Lakers. On second thought, Kupchak should offer Joe money to make that call. That should scare some sense into D'Antoni. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Larry Brown might be looking for work. Seriously though, I can't really complain about the job Frank has been doing. He's developing young players, and rewarding guys who are working hard. Next year I'll judge him on results. That's when he SHOULD have a playoff caliber roster. This year's roster would have been, AT BEST, an 8th seed if everything went perfectly. Personally, I'm glad that he coached for the future as opposed to trying to sneak into the playoffs. If he screws up next year, then I wouldn't mind seeing Laimbeer or Mike Brown get a shot. Nate Mcmillan is a heck of a coach. I'd take Doc Rivers if Boston decided to go in another direction.
We could pick up the other Spurs assistant Brett Brown, who just happens to be the Australian national team coach (he is American). He has done pretty well in squeezing the most out of rosters not blessed in huge talent in the past.
Mike Brown is one of the most overrated coaches in the history of NBA. Hiring him would be the second coming of Kuester. Nate McMillan would be a significant upgrade over Frank. I also like Laimbeer and I think he would do a good job. Doc Rivers and Doug Collins would be lateral moves.
Changing coaches right now would do absolutely nothing. If the Pistons re-sign Calderon, draft an impactful player, and add another impactful player in free agency this summer, and the team does not make the playoffs in 2013-14, then Frank needs to go.
